What times does it start? Not like there's much time anyway so the sooner we start better, although it's EA so I'm guessing tomorrow afternoon/evening.

the closed beta was brilliant, there were no nade fests and the grenade launcher you practically had to hit the target for it to kill, quite a nice change from CoD and BC2..

Most considered the closed beta pretty bleh to say the least, hence the massive list of changes.

Does this game play similar to BFBC2?

Any good?

What with this Black ops and the BFBC2 expansion 'Vietnam' coming out in the next 2-3 months, its causing me a bit of a selection dilemma.

There is still plenty of life in BFBC2, and was thinking Id get the expansion 'Vietnam' but if MOH plays like BFBC2 it too is basically an expansion!

Cant exaclty have BFBC2 + Vietnam and MOH (oh and im completly assuming that Black ops is going to stink) on my computer.... what to play!

Too much choice! :eek:

Oh and from what Iv seen this is just MW2 using the DICE BFBC2 engine.... whether or not thats a bad thing is open for debate...

Got the Open Beta ready to go. Hopefully the changes have made it more interesting. Got bored SO FAST of the closed beta.

Single player is where it will be at in this game for sure I think though. MP is basically a BC2 mod with rubbish game play.

Good to hear. I enjoy a game which isn't filled with random dying.

Are tanks balanced in this or are they straight up death machines? In BF2, I never went into tanks as it only took 2 hits from a RL to blow up.

Have to wait all day to play it though.

The grenade launcher in BC2 wouldn't be so bad if you didn't carry the ammunition crate, in which people can just reload-fire-reload-fire continuously, same with hand grenades. It facilitates spamming, where with a simple fix it could be solved. BC2 is ruined now, too many cheaters playing with aimbots.

Not really, i managed to kill a dozen people in the tank during the closed beta. BC:2's tanks can take quite a punch before exploding, lobbing 360 degree smoke and reversing works like a charm but DICE has pretty much carried the resilience of the tank over to MoH, which means they're not glass cannons, but on one map, the attacking team can get two tanks to assault the final part, leaving the defenders to pretty much rely on RPG's.

BF:V is the one im looking forward to the most and it's the simplest one of all. The original was the dogs dangles. Chop lifting a tank to your friends for them to then wtf pwn everything around them was just immense.
