I think the one prediction which he got wrong, which most people cling to is that no KERS car will win a race in 2009. Did he also say that no KERS car will get pole position - I'm not sure?

He heavily berated KERS and the cars equipped with the device, though he did take it all back and concede that KERS wasn't as bad as he previously thought.

either Hamilton or Alonso, the two best drivers on the grid.

I think whoever has the best car out of Hamilton and Alonso should win. Right now, its difficult to argue against Ferrari - they have been very consistent.

I stand corrected, I had forgotten about his KERS hatred!

I'm not going to make a prediction now, but there's a lot of quality drivers in the field - Alonso, Schumacher, Hamilton, Button, Massa, Vettel.. any one of those can win, given a competitive car. Certainly looking forward to the season

In fairness the cars that ran kers at the start of the season were absolutely shocking to begin with, seeing the mclaren trying to kill its driver at seemingly random intervals because of 'balance issues' would have been enough to put kers in the bin in my mind.
