either that track needs to change or they need to ignore for this track.

ridiculous that 100 seconds of penalties have been added 5 hours after the race has finished.

What are everyone's thoughts on LH next steps?

He’s looking for WC no 8 and at 38 he’s no spring chicken . Unless Mercedes can come up with a dominant car in the next 2 seasons I can’t see him doing much more other than retirement.

Horner would never have him at Red Bull and Ferrari are just a bunch of clowns . I think you’ll see him retire next season or 2025 .

Personaly I would loved to have see him go out winning number 8 in the red car .

Jump ship and go to ferrari for his last stint in F1.

Doubt he is ever gunna win that 8th title which is a damm shame but bowing out wih 7 titles is legendary status.

IF and i mean IF he somehow does win a 8th title during max/RB dominant period, there is not a single person who cant say he aint the GOAT!!!

Lol, what a joke. If the corners (9 and 10) are too tight they should open them up a bit, there’s plenty of run off. I think realistically the drivers are trying to extract the maximum lap time they can and sometimes get it wrong.

And I’ve said it time and time again, this is exactly why Hamilton fans won’t let 2021 go. I’m just hoping that what he said recently means that Merc have actually given up on this year and are working their behinds off for next years car.

As for these revised results, absolute lols. F1 is becoming more and more of a joke every race. :(

I'm somewhat conflicted on this.

On the one hand, I think there absolutely has to be a boundary and a track limit for obvious sporting reasons.

However, if there are THAT many infringements.or penalties from over half the grid, something about this track might be worth taking a look at.

I'm most perplexed about Hamilton. I watched qualifying and he seeme to be one of the few drives who didn't seem to get any times deleted for track limits, then in the race he couldn't keep it on the track?

The Red Bulls were awful for it in qualifying but, were the only team not to get hit with a a penalty in the race.

Whole things seems weird.

Did Lewis have a car issue? I kept seeing something mentioned about brakes but can't find anything conclusive.

The real problem is the track, yes the drivers should be better, but if they can they will drive to the edge especially if they’re struggling. The corners which are problematic are high speed, I’m sure remodelling the track slightly would help. Maybe straighten 9 and tighten 10.
Mind you hulk got track limits when he parked his car.

Front wing set-up change apparently

He needs to move to RB to get another shot at the championship, obviously thats a crazy scenario with chances of that happening at like 1%. But if he really wants it that's the only team that can currently give him a shot in this era.

If the merc isn't even remotely close next year he would be mad not to start looking elsewhere (or just retire).

If that Merc doesn't seriously pick up in performance over before the Summer Break then I'm not sure he's going to stay, he's not signed a contract yet for a reason - I know there's talk its about money, etc but it has to be playing on his mind that Merc appear to be stuck like they were last year, false dawn of optimism and then back down to earth again later.

There isn't really anywhere for him to go next year though so I half wonder if he might just take a sabbatical.

I think this is more likely than joining another team. But we could be in for a surprise. How long is Leclerc signed for? :D I’d imagine in RB’s eyes he’s as quick as MV in a good day, but not over a whole year so will have to play a second driver. But in Leclercs mind he’ll be able to challenge… so would jump at the chance. So maybe Hamilton can go to Ferrari afterall? Lol I think I’m tired.. :o
