Why doesn't the Race Director in F1 have the ability to talk to all drivers like in Formula E? Seems a much more sensible system.
I have read the rules but you clearly did not read what I wrote.
The outcome, the outcome, the outcome is not taken into consideration when handing out the penalty.
Hence why Lewis was only given a 10s penalty at Silvertsone even though Max was out of the race with a near 50G impact.

What has happened to Russell? I thought this guy was supposed to "take it" to Hamilton but all I am seeing from him now is excuses. Hamilton is coming up to middle age and Russell should be coming into his prime.
I believe he's got a draggier (If that's a word..) rear wing this weekend. Which seems to be hindering his performance compared to Lewis. Or he's just not as good..

Not being as fast as Hamilton is not exactly a damning condemnation.
I recall last year people mentioning Hamilton was past it ? When Russell was doing better
Maybe Russell is doing all the testing this time out

I wasn't talking about this race but in general. Rosberg was far closer and arguably was racing Hamilton in his prime (Not that he still isn't good but age catches up with everyone).
And ended up .1s behind as a result of the safety car
We will have to agree to disagree. While it made no difference to the outcome, I think it helped.I know what you mean. I guess that was easier to figure out in the Rosberg era as the car they had was a beast and they only really had each other to fight whereas the current Merc is a dog... I only expect Russell to be really good because Lando, Leclerc and Albon all said he was a beast in the lower formulas. Max probably thinks he's good too although obviously wouldn't say it out loud.
Granted but he's not at the peak of his powers which is testament as to how good he is. Russell since the design change to the Mercedes has gone backwards.

Watching the C4 highlights. Hamilton got a penalty for that, what the hell? Sure they tapped, you could point the finger at Lewis. But it has zero consequences to the order of the cars at that point? Madness.

Zero consequences to the order of the cars? What are you smoking. the sidepod damage caused Perez to drop back many places and retire from the race. The blind love Hamilton gets, gets even more bizarre.
