Raining on the F3 now. Delayed start to let them change tyres.
Honestly I hope there’s truth to Hamilton saying he couldn’t care less about a win this season and would rather concentrate on the championship next year. As he so eloquently put, there’s nothing stopping them working on next years car. I guess they wouldn’t want to spook RB into doing the same hence why they’re not outright admitting it.hopfully merc focusing fully on race pace
Ffs I have a bbq to do
There are a lot of incredibly smart people working on these teams - I don’t think the ol’ switcharoo is a sound tacticHonestly I hope there’s truth to Hamilton saying he couldn’t care less about a win this season and would rather concentrate on the championship next year. (Obviously RB are working in next years car, but hey)
I’m sure. But there’s only so many people in the team and so much money *cough* that I’m sure there’s a big element of where do you put your efforts. Next race, or next year? If you’ve got a massive advantage right now you can dedicate more to the long term rather than trying to eke (sp?) out a decent result next weekend. All teams are working on next years cars with models in CFD and windtunnel.
Yeah, just started hammering it down here too whilst I was mowing the lawn... It wasn't meant to start until 12pm so it could be that it hits places a bit earlier.Ffs I have a bbq to do
Albon looking a better bet, at least for qualifying.Anyone fancy a bet on a Hamilton, Norris, Russell podium!? Lol. Although if they had the cars all three have the ability. They just need to sneak a potato into the back of the two bulls and hope Ferrari make some typical strategy decisions and pit stops.

The rain starts to clear around 3/4pm. Could start wet and dry out.Is qualy looking like it'll be wet too?
Hopefully wet to give all the Brits a better chance. The bulls will disappear still in the race thoughThe rain starts to clear around 3/4pm. Could start wet and dry out.
Awesome. I'm well up for a wet Silverstone qualifying.
Hopefully we get a crazy grid for tomorrow.
So is the Williams hype real here, or is it just practice throwing us off?
Will be mega embarrassing for Mercedes if another one of their engine supplied teams beats them..
You've got to start wondering whether having Lewis and George driving for them flatters that car...
Would it be solidly midfield with rubbish/average drivers ?
