I want to say it's a great race for Alonso, but it couldn't have been that much closer. Got to be a shade of disappointment there.

Thing with that was though RB just shadowed Astons pit stop so if Alonso hadn't come for new slicks in would Max? Probably not. If Alonso had stayed out a couple of laps and came in for inters Max would just have copied so not sure it would have changed the result only if Max came in for new slicks on his own.

Yeah agreed. Lot of strategy stuff. Maybe a lot was due to threat of rain.

And ferrari (imo) making more bad calls.

Top 3 ending in same positions means they allade good. Strategy calls. Really hard to time call for inters and not call wets.
