Luckily for him the track limits violation hid his dog **** time that he set. Haha!
According to Russell, Hamilton offered him his set of the latest upgrades as Mercedes don't have spares. Which would mean Hamilton has to start from the pit lane and then there's no real reason not to change his setup and replace the PU. Russell then said they're not going to switch the upgrades to his car.
Anyone else thinks that makes it sound that they're going to leave Hamilton's car alone and have him start P18, and as they don't have spares have Russell start from the pit lane? Instead of Russell from P6 and Hamilton from the pitlane.
The Mercedes brain trust seem to have been day drinking recently.

Bit of a nightmare qualy for Merc that. Lewis having a particularly ****/unlucky one.
The car does seem to be randomly/wildly inconsistent. As George was saying, he doesn't get why they were fighting for poll yesterday, but then the 4th fastest car today. Odd.
Norris being on pole should make for a good start tomorrow, but I think Max will end up winning unless there are any issues/crashes.

Norris is going to have his work cut out to even be leading into turn one. Let’s hope he goes super aggressive, he’ll never win a straight drag race there. But that’ll probably open it up for those behind to get a sniff. Could get tasty.
At least verstappen is p2 for a few laps?.. Corners?... Corner?.. Meters?

And perez? His continued existence in that seat baffles us all. Getting rid of Sargent and putting in Colipinto in that Williams and Perez's condemnation seem to be 2 aspects fans consensus on!
