What boost do you see in GPUZ on the sensor tab the best mine have managed is 1188 and 1176 on the 2 GPUs.
As you say it probably is down to the boost clock lottery.
For everyday use I would not be able to tell the difference between my i7 9xx PCs and the 3960x.

Thank you very much mate. F8 BIOS flashed perfectly fine and then I injected some more voltage once I hit the ceiling @ 1.3v. You do have a peach of a card mate, when you start using voltages I can see you surpass me so I'll just enjoy my time whilst it lasts. Going to try 1437Mhz on GPU now, wish me luck lol.

Thank you mate. It will probably be one of the last times at these clocks on air as temps are too bad as it is. If I don't be a moron about this I'll accept the bravery tag but if I push too much and something goes wrong then the word fool will follow lol. I'm just hoping for a slightly higher score but doubt I'll break the 13k. I can see why water is needed and now I've got to figure out a cheap but good performing custom setup and I've not got a clue about watercooling
.I'll try this clock once on my current drivers (306.97), and once on 304.79 then I'll back off 1437Mhz as you're right. No point in being stupid (until I get a WC set-up of course).
Sorry to hear that. I hope you don't have to drop your clock too much. Maybe as the drivers are running the card so well the temperatures are not as stable?. The way things are looking you'll drop your clock and still smash your previous score though

Wont be long bud.I just done a suicide run in SLI with Core voltage at +175 +198 on the core and 620 on the mem...completed and 3Dmark11 wont show my score arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Probably explains why there are no xfire benches and they were not for public release.
I installed them and had no stability problems on single card, i did however encounter two of the bugs mentioned which were missing geometry and the cards not clocking down properly.
They normal clock down to 300/150 but only clocked down to 500/1375.
