Try playing some games. Leave both cards on the stock bios and make sure stock clocks and voltages are set. 925/1250 @1.25 with +20% power line.

Failing that maybe one of the cards is faulty. Might need to test them one by one for a couple of days each to see which one it is.

Both have run heaven and bf 4 on there own. I'm running memtest, almost done.

There we go one run and a pass

When it locks up is it a driver reset error/black screen then you can use the pc again? Or is the pc locking up and you have to hard reset?

Are you definitely using the backup bios and everything is at stock?

Im getting a hard lockup, and cant do anything so have to reset it.

I have just set the bios to switch 2, AB is showing core @ 1150v power 20+ core 925 mem 1250.

Afterburner is not compatible with the stock his bios. It will report and set incorrect voltage value as you can see. Stock voltage should be 1.25v on bios 2.

Only use afterburner if you use one of the bios from the OP.

Download and use His iTurbo instead and make sure the correct default clocks are set as well as voltage.

His iTurbo 1.4.4(OC tool)

Ok progress is being made. Sounds to me like a possible faulty card. However maybe afterburner has set the wrong voltage somewhere or something has got messed up.

Try the following to clean things up

1. Download the Latest AMD Drivers (Latest caps always included with the latest Beta)
http://www2.ati.com/drivers/beta/amd_catalyst_13.11_betav1.exe - Currently 13.11 Beta

2. Download & install Driver Fusion. Check the contents of the rar file closely. Look for the README file.
http://www.sendspace.com/file/d4hcii

4. Un-install any other versions of Afterburner, Trixxx, GPU Tweak, His iTurbo etc. Don't want other apps interfering. Do not keep user settings, delete everything.

5. Uninstall the AMD drivers+Caps via Add/Remove Programs.

6. Restart your pc. Once back into windows run Driver Fusion. Analyse amd and then delete all entries. Restart.

7. Now you can install the new drivers. Use the express install option unless you have a specific reason not to. Follow the prompt and after installing the drivers, install the caps file. Restart your pc.

Now reinstall HIS iTurbo and disable ULPS in its settings. Restart. Now set power limit at +20% and try a benchmark/game.
