Im running heaven and getting Black screen lock ups. (Rebooting to get back) I have not set any OC yet, just trying at stock.

Any clues

Did you flash the bios i suggested a few posts back? It seemed like you flashed a different one.

Setup some gpu overlays as per my thread below so you can monitor gpu usage and clocks more effectively to check performance.

Probably worth disabling ULPS via afterburner if you havent already.

Do you really need to flash the bios? I am more than happy with mine just the way it is. Maybe just run the stock bios and see how it goes first.

I am just running a single card. Clocked to a modest 1100/1450 and 100% stable. Idles at 30 and gets to 63-64 under heavy load. I am happy with that :)

Ok I reflashed to the one Matt said.

Seemed to run all the same in heaven, load was 90 to 93 on each (up and down in this range).

But when it finished and I went to save my Screen locked up crt -alt-del back to desktop. My screen is black (I cant see anything), but the PC is working.

Any clues.

When ever I play games, when I mute I hear this zzzzzzzzzz sounds coming from my speakers, its soft so I mute and I can hear. Whats wrong? Also dosen't happen when not in games. Kinda annoying.

Could be an issue with 2d clocks/volts. How many and what res monitors you running? I just run the stock BIOS and have a 2d and 3d profile with the volts and clocks I need for each (force constant voltage is on to make it work with the boost bios)

E: just saw it seems to be sorted. Fingers crossed. I had to reseat my cards to fix an issue early on, so seems they like to be snug as a bug in a rug.

Well I was wrong.

I was getting ready for bed. And a thought popped into my head. Can you guess what it was.

I didnt make sure xfire was enabled. So I have turned on my PC and nope it wasnt. So I enabled it and ran Heaven. Its still broken, aarrrrggggghhhhh

I run 1 monitor Hazro @ 1440.

What to try next.

Did you flash both cards or only one? Sounds like you only flashed one card from what you wrote.

Show me a screenshot of afterburner. Have you got over in game overlays setup? Is the power limit at +20%? Are the core clocks jumping up and down? What's gpu usage like?

ULPS was still enabled in reg. So I have disabled it and still the same.

AB overlay doesnt show in BF4.

In heaven it shows GPU usage is between 90 & 94, GPU 925 core 1250, they do not move.

Is your mobo x8 x8 and is your cpu overclocked?

Yes my CPU is OC, and stable with my GTX 670.

1 x PCI Express x16 slot, running at x16 (PCIEX16)
* For optimum performance, if only one PCI Express graphics card is to be installed, be sure to install it in the PCIEX16 slot.

1 x PCI Express x16 slot, running at x8 (PCIEX8)
* The PCIEX8 slot shares bandwidth with the PCIEX16 slot. When the PCIEX8 slot is populated, the PCIEX16 slot will operate at up to x8 mode.

Im guessing you are going to say try stock CPU clocks.
