LT: I've no idea what your BIOS has done but I'm impressed! The only thing I don't like is how noisy the fan is but I guess the only cure for that is to watercool it. Is it worth overclocking? and do I need to up the V if I've got +20% power line on?
 
Guys when running a modified BIOS is anyone else having stutters and moments where the game just judders for a few seconds?

I know it's not temp related as it's water cooled..

I can alter the automatic fan profile to make it silent, if you like. Or you can use a custom fan profile via afterburner and create it yourself. Best to keep the fan under 55% if you like it quiet.

No. Are you supplying the cards with enough voltage? Have you got the memory overclocked too far? Both can cause that.
 
good morning everyone. im about to pull the trigger on one of these cards and have downloaded Lt's latest bios. excuse a noob but what software do u use to actually overclock the card and to add the power increase if needed?

I have had a play on the custom profile but temps were getting out of hand, is it much of a ball ache for you to uplad a quiet fan profile LT or can you offer any tips?

What clocks and voltage settings are you running? I can alter the fan profile for you if you like. If you run at stock i can lower the voltage a lot and keep the fan really low. But if you plan to overclock you'll have to increase the voltage and fan speed with afterburner.
 
I have BF4 and COD Ghosts, I know AB does not support 64bit software, so understand that why when running COD Ghosts, my AB overclock profile does not load so the card runs at stock clocks and AB does not show framerate, however, BF4 does sometimes load the AB overclock profile but it can be erratic? any idea why, other than manually setting the OC profile before launching the game, is there any other work around so both games will laod the AB OC profile?

Try RadeonPro and create a profile for Ghosts and set overclock settings via that.

Try updating the motherboard bios first.

It's running completely stock. I'll OC when I find a block to integrate it into my WC loop

Ok upload your bios to sendspace give me the download link and ill tweak it. You'll need to test it out and make sure it doesn't crash with these new settings. If it does let me know and ill add more voltage. This will make it cool and silent but any overclocking headroom will vanish until you add more voltage.
 
COD ghosts does not work with AB (in that profiles dont load) but yes BF4 does work, though I find the clocks are erratic, watching the graphs in AB on my second monitor, I can see the core speed and memory dropping to defaults and sometimes the core even drops to 2d mode, especially if you stand and look at a wall or the floor, not always, just certain areas?
