**Official ABIT IP-35 Pro Review/Overclock/Guide Thread**

Also, i'll be installing Vista 32-Bit Ultimate, should I use any of the drivers on the Abit CD? Or are they not needed?

Thanks :)
Unless you switch AHCI on, none of the drivers off the Abit CD will be needed for installation.
After install, run a WU to get everything upto date, then go and download the latest Intel & Realtec drivers. All done. :).

ram @ correct voltage & timings ?

u will need to raise your MCH volts for 4 sticks of ram

go> bios-uguru & raise the MCH from there.
defualt is 1.25 so up to next voltage & try from there. g/l

i've been using 1 pair of OCZ PC2-6400 Platinum rev2, been running at 400*8 Mhz for CPU ever since day 1.
2.0v on RAM, 4-4-4-12, 1:1 800Mhz

then, i plugged in another pair start of October, when OCuk was first doing a sale for these OCZ sticks. didn't change anything, now got 4 exactly same sticks running at:
2.0v on RAM, 4-4-4-12 2T, 1:1 800Mhz.
Vmch = 1.33, Vtt = 1.31, Vcore = 1.4 (unlucky q6600, need 1.4 for 3.2Ghz) and all others at stock.

hope that helped you, @White

Hey Nelly... thnx for the resonse.
Got these... http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-086-OC&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=813 They will not overclock one bit.
It seems the CPU:Mem ratios on this board will not allow for say a 450FSB with a DDR800 mem.... :(
You would be lucky to get 401FSB with those sticks let alone anything higher. The mininum you can run your ram on any Intel motherboard is 1:1 or overclock the ram I'm afraid which you cant.

I would just stick to 9 x 400 (3.6Ghz) it's a very good clock. :)

OKay... Thnx Nelly.
Was hoping to try for a better CPU Overclock as it seems i have nice CPU.... went to 3.6G @1.35 volts without a hitch... temps under load went to 54oC...
Was going to aim for 3.8G @ 1.4v
NVM... as you say 3.6G is okay for now.... but if i was to feel the need, what mem would you recommend. :D

all volts & timing correct, if not that could be the prob.
try with 1 stick only, set correct values

memtested them as well ?

iam only using 1 stick since the other 1 died
ah now it wont boot must be dead no more micron memory for me
thats 3 sets in last few months

anybody recommend me memory thats not using micron IC's?
