it has an 18 hour reset timeer so basically, (if you still have your lodas amulets) find a good group, get inside, pop it, get 60% of your level, and then the quests for your level should take you to ding. Rinse and Repeat per level =)

although, 23.5k abyss points for rank 5 is a lot, and i was shocked yesterday to go toe to toe with a rank 3 templar. after endless nukes, mana regens, cc's and kiting, i got him down to 7% or so, without much health myself, and he used some kind of spell or potion that took him back to 100% hp immediately. needless to say i started running as fast as my wings would take me :P
 
Hi guys thought id put this into the topic as this is the single best thing that iv done to this game since i started playing.

I noticed that my ping was between 250-300 at all times, This was causing the game to feel very laggy and my moves especially seemed laggy so i got something called a latency fix, This brought my ping down from 250-300 to 40-50, And OH MY GOD does it make a difference. I asked my cleric partner what he thought and his response was 'Did you notice how you didnt die today' which was very true because his main grip was that his heals would take seemidly forever to actually register.

So anyway.. to test your ping type /ping ingame and if you have a higher ping than you should then go to this site

Its got nothing to do with WoW its just hosted on a wow fansite. aka this actually works with ANY online game.

Download that and extract it, Then just run the 'Install' file and say yes and then restart. If your on Windows 7 or Vista you will have to do run as admin.

I hope that helps people, Because its made a massive difference for me.

if he has his 3000dp move he must be level 31+ right? if that's the case i'm quite chuffed with myself being able to take him down that far lol. then again i suppose being a sorc balances it out.

I find rangers unbelievably easy to kill, and i don't know why...they always seem to use their main nukes at the start which get taken by my shield, then its just a matter of 2-3 combo's and they're dead.

templars and gladiators is just a matter of cc'ing and kiting them down

sorcs and sm's is basically a nuke fest and who's shield lasts longer :P

clerics and chanters...i run away if i see these, they spam heal until im oom/on cooldown, then run in and own me. i only fight em if im with friends.

assassins, only fought 1 or 2 solo, but both times i've known where they are when they hid, so i could use my stealth revealing to find em, and both time they've been surprised when water binding hits them and exposes them randomly :P about the same as ranger after that.

definately looking forward to level 31 for inferno, but i'm also slightly annoyed that Curse of Roots is 60k on the broker =( currently got Lumiels Wisdom and Ice Sheet equipped.

Dude seriously, If its still 60k on the AH, GET IT! Thats really really cheap btw, on my server its minimum 250k, and has gone up to 1M on weekends.
 
just bought it, im surprised that you guys have it so high on your servers...

surely if prices are that high due to an inflated market, they should increase drop/gold rates from mobs and quests and such? otherwise it would be very very hard to make that much gold regularly. im on average holding about 200k...goes down to 100 when i buy something big or w/e.

Hit 26 this weekend and loving the Abyss and training ground....been learning quite a few (comedy) lessons in PvP where I have run after some people into their base etc :/

Definatly more fun PvPing in a group and with good coms....

Training Ground instance is wicked....I think I was level 25 for about an hour and half then I was 26 thanks to the training ground!! Looking forward to this taking me to level 30 pretty quick! :)

Dont forget you cant go into the Training Ground after lvl 28. Darn nice XP up til then though

Oh no!! I thought you could go through it till you were level 30 :(

I am sure I read somewhere that you needed to do quests in there to make sure you can use the later instances? I think I have done most of the quests in there after a helpful group the other night made sure I did everything but is there anyway I can double check?
 
uhm, how are you guys making so much kinah, if i may ask?

i do the standard things, sell greys to vendor, buy cheaper-than-vendor stuff of the broker and sell it at vendor, that kinda thing..i honestly have no clue how some people are walking around with 1 million and such...

Its just come in normally for me.

I've sold a few things on the Broker for a total of maybe 200k, but the rest of the money I've just got by selling trash items and picking up coin. Nothing special.
 
My sorc is still grinding away on Cooking/Alchemy, cooking is actually a really good money maker its just the constant bashing of pans gives you a massive headache! I also went up from 17-18 purely from cooking lol took hours
 
Start of my gaming yesterday I had 800k, did some crafting, down to 21K, farmed a bit and AH some stuff 1.4m at my highest then spent another 400k on crafting supplies.
Armour crafting is my craft of choice, unfortunatley prices of crafting supplies are starting to get silly on the server were on :(
Really starting to get annoyed by the Expert quest >< Sooo expensive.

The high level crafts are also interesting as theres a couple that if you can get the mats cheap enough you can easy turn 40-60k per craft just by NPCing them.
 
Must say although I'm getting ganked a lot in the abyss being only lvl26 I'm having tons of fun.
I think it is time I started looking for a guild though.
