*** Official AMD Phenom II X6 1055T & 1090T Overclocking Thread ***

ooooo errrrr missus ... somehow dont think my noobness will match that .. lol

currently doing nicely at 4Ghz (now i manually set ram up correctly) with 1.44 max vcore and temps of 49C using a H50 for 1 hour 15 mins or so

well it looks like my stock vid is 1.475v.

it boots in to windows fine at 4.1ghz on stock voltage but i've droped it down to 4ghz for now... i'll run prime now...

it idles at 25c, 42c under load

Someone got hold of a 1035T and got 4GHz out of it!

Now that's impressive for the cheapest X6 you can get.

Also, looks like you can use the Turbo multi's even on the non BE chips. Might be something to look at for you 1055T users.

very impressive indeed ... wonder if its stable over hours and days though ...

is that LinX something worth testing with ? or stick to prime95x64 ? that one looks to work quicker than 8 hours of prime .. lmao

LinX can be run for as long as you want & no stability problems, then run Prime95 & get errors within an hour or so, also visa-versa.

I always test with LinX first 10 or so loops, that gives me a quick stability test, if it passes that then I run Prime95.

IBT and Linx are good as quick indicators of stability, then you'd use Prime for long tests.

well Im gonna aim for 3 hours prime stable for now then let the motherboard decide volts .. hopefully lower than the current 1.44 and see if it boots and primes on that ...

clocking cpu's is good but time consuming and repetative ,, geez I might as well go out and get a job  .. lol only kidding and no offence meant to anyone in a slow repetative job

I swear to God.
Myy V10 is SOOO not working.
3.6GHZ 1.55v, 68c :|
74C.
Yet it hasn't crashed...

if you are on about the coolermaster V10 i don't know why you bothered they are much bettered suited to intel buils in hotter climates as the thermo electric don't really kick in to well on the amd chips.

suprised you didn't look into it before buying one

for the Gigaybyte GA-MA790FXT-UD5P users there is now a beta BIOS on the website version F8H

will try it out soon myself :)

or maybe not ... clicking to download gives an error saying its been misspelt .. lmao

Hmm ;)
I've set it on its side.
Underload at 3.85GHZ, doesn't get above 55c, as at 55c the TEC knocks it down to 50C.
I think 3.85GHZ is my stability aim.

Nicely spotted, I have F8F although I haven't installed it on my previous motherboard.

no idea if the new BIOS will be more usable ... everytime i go into the BIOS it says something different .. lol

dont think i can get my vcore any lower :( board will boot into win7 only at 1.35v or higher but wont run prime for more than a few xeconds at less than 1.40v and it fails IBT on anything other than normal test @ 1.41v for 4Ghz

dont know if thats good bad or indifferent though . lol certainly wont run IBT at high or above for even the 5 runs

pretty sure the vcore @1.44 is my best shot for 4Ghz and resonable temps below 56C

From what ive seen, i think all 1090Ts are set to start at 1.3v VID then ramp up to 1.475v.

Bit confusing, different mobos seem to portray it in different ways. Im just trying to find lowest vcore for 4 GHz, to pass OCCT. Then when I get back from weekend away, Ill see if it can do 24 hrs prime. (might need the windows open that day!)
