Why not? Replace the non fruit trees with other fruits. You could even chop down and replace all your native fruit trees with exotics

Don't forget that you can make money trees by planting money with your golden shovel.

The people who you have added need to add you as well. Once the "handshake" has taken place your Orange Triangle next to each name will become a Green Circle.

Anyone got a foolproof way of fishing? I wait till the bait is right on the fish, then press the a button, but it just yanks the line straight out of the water. Do you have to do anything special to get them to bite \ reel them in?

As soon as a hear the splash of the fish nicking the bait I tap.

I use the button personally but yes, the splash is the key. Sometimes I don't even look at the DS I just put it near my ear.
