And I have a question about this case - anyone with HDD's installed in the lower chamber, is it possible to install a 120mm fan on the HDD side of the lower chamber?

Anyone?

Do you mean to fit a fan in front of the HDD (i.e. up against the front of the case)? That's not possible without modding the case.

No, fit a fan after the HDD's, but before the partition, if you see what I mean?

Thanks for answering my questions. If you are interested, I'll be mounting the fan downwards in the PSU, and putting the HD in the bottom section.

Oh, and I have permanently removed the bottom fan, so fingers crossed.

If it all goes wrong, I'll be back on here again....

Oh I see - you want to get an inch or so more space for the PSU? Sorry - I haven't tried that...

It will fit but you need a right angled SATA cable to make sure the cable doesn't touch the fan - or you could screw a grill infront of the fan to stop it happening.

Thanks for that! I have been considering this case, amongst a LOT of others, and that is something I was a little concerned about, as I have the Zalman 850-HP PSU which is quite a lot longer than standard.

You should be able to adjust how far out the drive sits, as you've got a choice of 3 holes on the rails at the front of the drive, and a 'slot' for the rear screws.

It was just me not reading the instructions proberly- not the first time either! I had the metal part at the back of the DVD drive. Thanks for the reply anyway!

I did have them down there but found they where getting a bit warm, like the idea of a bit of air flow over the hard drives as they are now raid 0. don't want one of them dying and losing the lot

Is it possible to replace the 3 screws that attach the right hand panel with thumbscrews? and if it is, where can one obtain the thumbscrews?

Yeah just buy a pack of thumbscrews, you can get them in all shapes and colours, just gOOgle Thumbscrews.

Well guys, finaly got the case! Got it from a mate for £35.. was a bit shabby but i spent two days cleaning it out, and putting everything back together. Phone pics i'm afraid

Hi,

I purcahsed some thumb screws from ******s which did the job. I think they came in a pack of 4 !
The thread on PC cases I think are all a standarded size !

You cant see from the pictures, but there's quite a few hair line scratches on the side panels. The inside is fine though, and it's only me that will see the case!

Even with the scratches on the side panels, £35.00 is still a good buy.
What about T-Cut will that clear some of scatches ?
