I have ordered from play.com before and the last ordered from them was MGS4 and it was delivered 2 days earlier.

if it really is £25 in the shops then its tempting to just go and buy it now at lunch time.

How does the return policy work on play.com?

is it £25 in GAME or HMV?

Can i just ask, is this game primarily aimed at online multiplayer BF2 and such? Or is it a single player game too?

it has pretty much every gameplay mode a fps can have.

there is a full SP/COOP campain. Where arma excells is with massive coop missions with 60+ players(evoloution map/mod) the comunity will add missions and senarios that are easily downloaded and played online.

there are options for team DM and CTF and DM if people want to play that style, Team DM was fun as we had ai running about with the actual players.

There is also a BF2 style point capture and hold mode called superpowers. PVP with 2 teams+ ai factions iirc. You have a commander that builds bases and gives orders/money.
Each player can buy(cs style) guns vehicles and squadmemebers(ai) that they control and work as a team. this is great if playing with friends as you end up with a platoon of people working together and the ai are helpfull in shooting the other players/ai
 
Gutted. Ordered from 'Rainforest' with Prime so it is registered delivery. BUT there is a postal Strike in London. Checked the Royal Mail tracker it says it has been recieved in their sorting office and has been sent out for delivery. Apparently Royal Mail are trying to deliver special deliveries so there is a tiny bit of hope for me yet. Nothin yet though :/

does seem strange that they say they are still working on the demo to make it ready,what about the full version, is that not ready either??
 
Normaly Play get it out 1 or 2 days early. But packing since wednesday and only dispached late thursday. So its going back. And will order from else where from now on.
 
My first thoughts are this is a more in depth FPS than I am used to.
Man I so reckon that TrackIR thing will be cool with this.
Getting used to the controls so far and loving every minute of it.

Whats the performance like? I want to know if it'll run semi decently at 1920x1200 with a 4870
