Just downloaded the new updated 1.02 patch from the link on the previous page and when i install it, it says i've already got 1.02 installed and does nothing. Is that right or should it actually install something?

That's what mine said too, it does update though.

EDIT : Proc, i installed over 1.02 and it worked fine, have you made your cfg read-only and not changed it back ??

No not changed anything, although with jamesftw's doing the same it must work. I'll try it now and see. Just thought it was strange it not updating.

Yeah I got same message , BUT when I checked the times stamps on the files
they had been modified

same here, AA is now enabled in the video options, so it worked, so dont worry

Getting mouse lag here

Did another fresh install and applied both patches

Better than before but still slight mouse lag

Gonna check some forums, they might be working on a quick fix or work-around

Edit: Re-installed the game, then the patches, all is good now

Another quick question if I may - When you start building a base and build a light vehicle factory.....once you have built a vehicle and used it, expended its ammo etc, is there a way to rearm it with more rounds and missiles?.

I built a BRDM2 and a BRDM2 ATGM and have used up all my ammo on both, how do I rearm them?.

Having problems getting crossfire to work in Windows 7 x64. Anyone got any ideas? -winxp seems to crash machine still.

AA kills my FPS anything more than low drops me to low to mid teens FPS.

And I have done a fresh install.

dont know if its that the number of units around has decreased, (on the mission after manhattan, when we meet those guys, trying not to spoil anything here), but performance seems better, and my team seem to follow me when needed, rather than setting up a picnic.. infact the hold fire thing now works.. i saw my team on the map completely surrounded by unaware enemy, but as instucted they stayed down, and didnt fire, and hey presto they didnt get seen.... im likeing this game again...

Went on the demo with a 4870 straight into multiplayer. Its fairly playable, more actions available then i have keys on my keyboard but basics is easy enough

Seemed to play ok, checked the fps and its getting about 20fps in win7 Turned off AA and trimmed it down, looks a bit more scratchy and does 40fps but drops to 20 when running
Im sure its doable but Im surprised people are playing at high res so easily because it was 1280x1024 only here but I havent tried xp yet , etc

What's the rest of your spec?

It's pretty much been confirmed that this game is heavily CPU limited and makes good use of quad cores. The fact that going from 0xAA to 8xAA has no impact on performance is proof of that.

Also, I've found no difference going from XP to Win7, infact I'm pretty sure Win7 has less stuttering (possibly because it's 64bit vs 32bit).

basic core 2 duo but they dont look maxed out too much. I'll overclock it again soon. About 30fps driving a hummer which seems fine, its consistent not laggy but definitely a chunky feel to everything

Memory is about 1.5 gig usage?

Same here and I also have XFX 4890 coincidence?. Vsync is on so with AA disabled I get 50-60fps, on low about 30, normal 15 and on high... slide slow. Not many seem to be complaining about this so it must be restriced to this series of cards I guess.. either way it sux.

I'm using 1920x1200 - Post Processing is off. Everything else is maximum with 100% fill rate and 10k draw distance.

I get 60FPS constant, however if I jump in a plane it goes down to like 20... any ideas?

Does this happen when you are in the cockpit and stationary

or

after you take off and start flying ?

When im in the air flying, even after extended period. Mostly happens when I'm in 3rd person which is a lot for bombing runs etc.
