****Official Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 thread****

How is MP for the people that can actually get on? Does it look/feel the same as Black Ops (Only COD title I had, so only thing I can compare it to)
 
Seeing as this is a console port, does it now have 360 pad support for the single player or have they still to this day not included this.. I mean, COD MW and MW2 had no support yet they are both console games so I have always failed to see how come they haven't managed to get this working for PC players who like to kick back and play the game on a sofa on a large screen TV etc...

Least BF3 had controller support..
 
1 hour of playing singleplayer/multiplayer and i have already uninstalled the game and i am also thinking about trying to get a refund! and here is why...

The singleplayer is quite playable and is fairly interesting but has cod 4 textures and buildings in it ;/.

The multiplayer is god awful and has no balance at all... the maps are really small and close quarter's which makes sniping very hard but shoguns/assualt are very over powered!

O and the graphics are worse then blackops and mw2...

Battlefield 3 was made for pc and obivously Mw3 has been made for console's i suggest people who do not own mw3 yet not to buy it!
 
Wish i could connect to multiplayer to form an opinion on this game. So far ive tried everything and still get the same " cant connect to mw3 server , check server status" messages. BF3/Black Ops and MW2 all connect to their respective multiplayer parts. MW3 doesnt.

Lame.
 
I have BF3 but its nothing on BF2 and havent really played it much

Is this worth a pop, I loved COD1 and COD2, COD4 was also good but all the other seem to be rubbish.

If it a big step forward from COD 4 (or a step backwards?)
 
So this is waiting for me at home from Amazon..... After reading some on here, i'm debating sending it back without opening it.... :/
 
My main concern is the fact that you can't use custom classes in the dedicated servers... Whats the point in bothering if you've got to use the crap classes you start with?!

Someone has said that it's up to the server admin, but it can be set to allow all weapons/perks, so you should be able to build your class as you play. If that's true, it sucks that we can't switch classes quick on the fly, but it's better than being stuck with preset classes of their choosing.
