How?
It has a continued campaign with a fantastic story (so far), new maps in multiplayer, new game modes, new perks and killstreaks.
The only thing resembling to MW2 is the story, characters, graphics and sound.
I'm having a **** load more fun playing MW3 single player than I did on BF3.
Can't wait to get stuck into multiplayer and not be blasted with an RPG or mortar every 2 seconds.
I haven't played L4D2, but BF3 is no where near an expansion pack of BF2? It's a completely new game.
My point is that I'm disappointed with MW3. I like MW2, but this is exactly the same game, with even worse sounds!
I was thinking more to BC2 than BF2, should have clarified. At least in my experience it felt exactly the same as BC2.
Feel doesnt mean much in the overall larger picture, bf3 is a substantial upgrade to bf2 or bc2, this however seems like it should be a £20 expansion at best.
Really disappointed so far with MW3.
Maybe we have been spoilt with BF3 but i wasn't expected MW3 to look so dated

I agree. MW3 is the same as MW2 with tweaks.
Also BF3 is not the same as BF2. I'm sick of developers taking a fantastic title, promising all this crap and totally ****ing with the mechanics of the game and killing it for the original fans.

I understand that boundaries need to be pushed but not pushed so far forward that the game is unrecognisable.
Care to list the upgrades? I'll be honest I wasn't going to buy MW3 for a while but I've gotten the chance to buy it for £15 so I'm going to get it as soon as my voucher for the rainforest comes. I just don't feel the hate MW3 is getting for being similar to MW2 is justified from BF3 fans when imo BF3 is similar to BC2.
Same voice overs, same graphics, same gameplay, mostly the same guns, same same same same same same. Only the sound effects are much worse?!?
The only thing new is the single player campaign and perks system. And as for the single player, you'll play that once or twice, but apart from the great story, it's the same "get shot loads, kill people, move to next checkpoint" It's sooooo linear. I'm not saying BF3 is great single player, but come on?!? Then it's on to MP, I played a couple of times and finished top in every round by playing it exactly the same way as I played MW2 and I don't even know the new maps? As for the maps, I bet I'll know them after 2 days as they are so tiny.
BC2 sucked balls, BF3 however rocks.
Might be a silly question for some, but what is the single player like? Iv always enjoyed COD's story driven sp.

I only managed 81 minutes before I got dragged over to the dark side of MP but I was enjoying the SP. It did all feel a bit samey - I know that isn't propper English - It's good but I know I have been there before if that makes sense. I will kick it's ass at some point.
Well I'm a gamer through and through and must say the graphics in MW3 have not improved since the last release or the release before that ..... So far I'm not that impressed with this one. Everything's the same , even the voice-overs/menus and dare i say it? It's the same old linear singleplayer gameplay....
