Should be fine at that res, 2560 x 1440 is slightly more demanding (1050p on a 27" screen look like 640 x 480 on a 17" monitor)

^^ I only played the beta a couple of times and wasn't to impressed gameplay wise, but the finished version is a hell of a lot better, movement feels slicker and the gfx are a lot more smoother.
 
Seems so many people on different forums including Crytek's own, complaining how poorly optimised the game is even on really good i7 systems. With 7970's, GTX680's/690's. Quite a lot are slating it.

...but some saying it runs fine on i5s with single mid-high end cards. Maybe their pcs are not up to date / spyware or something?
 
Just finishing up a system that is using a 3770K @ 4.2ghz and a 690 GTX and tbh I would have expected it to run this at 1440p a bit better than it does tbh. It's still a bit juddery and really needs knocking down to high to keep it nice and smooth. A 690 should be ploughing through this with ease ?
 
Game is certainly the most gorgeous game I've seen out of the box on day release for sometime now.... Uncharted 3 was maybe the only other I've been so impressed with, but merely only as uncharted 3 was running an some pretty old tech when released.

This however is simply eating my system, it runs nice, its average 45fps but that is nothing compared to what other games have ran at, and I've had to knock it down to high to maintain a good fps.

something my laptop has not seen before, a game that can't be maxed out, i simply cannot max this one out at all...

it is better looking then crysis 2 out the box, but its still not up there with Crysis 1, as even though its a good looking game, considering Crysis 3 has now topppled it in someways, its taken near on 6 years to do it - hmmm...

Anyhow, the bow is simply amazing to use, and the music score is amazing and the graphics are amazing.

Worthy of £24 for sure...
