I think that is because crysis 1&2 originally launched on steam and there was a lot of fuss kicked up as why they were removed.

Crysis 3 has not had a steam release so it might not get one.
 
I cant decide whether to cave in now and get it or wait and play it through with the inevitable graphics mod like the other games - Realsis for Crysis and Blackfire/Mahldo for Crysis 2.

My 560ti runs it fine on a mixture of ultra and high settings with medium for post fx and shadows and it looks nice.
Have to say tho had much more fun with far cry 3.

Run the game in borderless Window mode if you want to play the game with no screen tearing meaning you can disable v sync

I ran the game full screen, and my fps dropped to 30fps and wouldn't budge with v sync enabled, took v sync off and it tore and ruined it for me.

so bordeless window mode, and now it moves along with high details at av 45fps much better, and better for ALT TAB anyhow..

Umm i hope so, i have xfire 2gb 6950's, 8gb ram, and i5 2500k all stock i think, would that be ok?

Also i remember having an issue in xfire in crysis 2 where it wouldnt go properly full screen with out some messing about, is this resolved? Thanks
