Finished it...literally just.....enjoyed it but for some reason Crysis games just dont have great stories...dont know about anyone else but i couldnt care less about anyone expect Psycho.

Ah dunno just felt its the best looking game ive every played but far too short and i couldnt get to grips with the story and yes i have played the other 2.

Just a heads up if you crashing starting the game, and your using msi afterburner on screen display, disable the on-screen. That crashes the game for me, did in beta and does now, if its off it launches fine then i turn it back on when in game and fine.

Impressive game, just done some of the first misson, I can play on Medium setting, but with high textures, AA disabled, still looks very nice, i get anywhere from 90-140fps on my GTX670.

Im happy with that. Tried All high settings and medium AA, V-Sync on, it was generally not too bad, but the rain effects made me go to 30-35fps, very noticeable.

Well, kinda eaten my words, had to turn down Shadows, Shading and Objects to High (oh noes!), but i managed to used TXAA High which i'm happy about.

The Nvidia beta tool that optimizes games for you stated Shading to High, Shadows and Objects to Medium and 1x SMAA, i have no doubt it's correct, as i tried it with other games and it matched my settings. I was getting 45+ FPS in Crysis 3, but i get 30+ with the settings i fiddled with so i'm happy with that.

Edit: If i was forced down to Medium settings i would have upgraded.

Surely you can play on very high settings on a 670? I've got a mixture of high and very high on my old gtx480 and I'm getting FPS around 35 on average which is playable for me. Crank those settings up, the graphics are the whole point of this game :)

Is anyone else getting crashes often?

Seems like quite a common problem.

I get "crysis has stopped working", happens sometimes within 10 minutes, sometimes lasts about 30.

Even with all overclocks off and latest drivers :/

Yep keeps crashing for me and doesnt run very well in certain parts. Im gonna leave the game alone for a good while and come back when its had its final patch and better nvidia drivers. I should be playing this at max settings with smooth gameplay, no excuses.

Only had it crash once to be honest and that was when I connected my iPhone and iTunes loaded in the background. Performance seems pretty consistent for me.
