not in the game , if you disable the v synch in the control app that over rides the game options. i am sorry i am a bit drunk at the moment :) ill be more helpful tomorrow :) good luck man
 
Loving the game so far, have just got to the part:

Where you see 'new' New York for the 1st time

Wow, just wow at that scene and the graphics are pretty darn awesome. Im happy to find my GTX670 f.t.w has held up so far, I can put everything on max with AA disabled and it runs fine. It seems AA just canes GPU power as I tried SMAA and my FPS shot way down, I had to drop settings like Shadows etc to get it running smooth, but I prefer to have max detail and no AA, I can handle jaggies.

Probably a tough question but which graphics setting is likely to have the biggest power drain apart from AA?

Shadows and shaders. Install framps and take a couple of shots at the start of a new game showing FPS.

30fps is 'held up well' for some, other 60. For me my 670 is holding up well in 1440p with settings on (from top to bottom)

very high textures
no aa
no motion blur

very high - effects
medium - object
very high - particles
high - post processing
high - shading
medium - shadows
very high - water
16X

game is mostly 60fps with online around 60-90.

I havent played much of the single player really because multiplayer is so much fun. Predator bow and fast stealth mode is so much fun

Cloak, Armour and Speed make it a lost more interesting (and combining the 3)

I may get away with a couple of higher settings as Im gaming at 1920x1080.
 
Might have been mentioned earlier but get geforce experience and optimize through that.

Getting 60-90fps on my single 670. Settings are similar the same as those above but at 1920x1080

Certainly at 1080p

To gauge performance, try the following. Start a new game, then just leave it looking forward

With the settings above in 1440p I get 46fps
Settings above in 1080p I get 71fps
Very high all 1080p I get 46fps
Very high all 1440p I get 29fps

So in theory if I played at 1080p then everything could be maxed with a similar fps to settings above and 1440p. Obviously it will depend on the scene and what is going on as a single point of the game has only been used. - Still, its more accurate that review sites where its just 'run around for a minute or so recording min max average' - I could just look at the floor all the time... and wow, my 670 is faster than 2 titans! :rolleyes:
 
just finished, 4 hours and 37 mins on veteran, and i thought i was going slow

very nice looking but not the best story again

MP seems fun though! worth £25ish, dont buy on origin at full price
 
Seemed to get a pretty decent bargin from GAME. For £35 i got:

Crysis 1
Crysis 3
Crysis 3 Hunter Pack
Crysis 3 Stalker Pack
NFS iPhone Game
Fifa iPhone Game
Mass Effect iPhone Game

No idea what the iPhone games are like, i thought i was just buying the base Crysis 3 game and ended up with a load of extra gubbins!
 
Does anyone have the cloud storage option on Origin for this as its not showing on mine? I thought every game came with this now and Crysis 2 def did.

Got it off the Indian Origin - EA are real amateurs when it comes to online stores given the amount of workarounds and stackable codes to get stuff cheap....
 
Finished this the other say. Far too short but the experience was very fun if easy. Started again on the very hardest setting but still finding it has very little challenge. Running extremely well on a 480gtx 1.5gb, 8gb RAM, and phenom II 965 at high/Very high with AA on lowest setting. Hope we get a nice single player add on down the road!
