Liked how they ended the game by bringing you back to the start of the game, then back to the start of the trilogy at Lingshan. Story played out well I thought, got a laugh at the after credits scene with
Psycho taking out a few Cell troops who were escorting CELL board members then says he has a complaint to make
. Musta been 10 minutes or so of credits to watch beforehand though which was surprising.
Not sure if I liked the Nanosuit taking on Prophets original physical appearance at the end, just seemed a bit weird as I doubt this will be the last game to feature it. No mention of Alcatraz whatsoever, he just seemed to be the "meat" inside the suit to keep it functioning while integrating Prophets mind into the body. In that respect it seemed pretty pointless in Crysis 2 to even have it play out the sequence of Prophet shooting himself and introducing a "new" Nano soldier, seems to me they might have been going a different direction then changed their minds at the last minute. If not I really don't get the point behind it, not as if Alcatraz done anything different or added anything really.

i had a quote from Psycho when i was killing enemies, and he was basically mocking me for being crap, and it was along the lines of that Alcatraz could do better, actually saying Alcatraz in the quote, however, i've never encountered that quote ever again and it was on the first level and i've played that level like 6 times just to get the quote to appear again.
James J was just gonna ask the same thing its downloading 210.26mb, wonder if its an AA fix?
Anyhoo I run 60-70fps outside and have had it drop to 29 in a cut scene with lots of cool lighting going on or in mid thirties in big action scenes. Playing on High with no motion blur, FXAA and X16 aniso
Needless to say Crysis 3 is fun to play and the single best looking video game of all time.
The lighting engine for the first time looks 'real' in a game, absolutely amazing.
Is anyone else using a 690 GTX and getting big frame drops ? I cannot work out what is going on it just just seems to drop in to single figures for no reason then jump back up.
Pretty damn sure that my save game has just encountered the worlds worst autosave Was in a tank and went through an autosave section right as I got hit by one of the tripod walkers rounds, destroying my tank and killing me. Everytime I click enter to load into the game now, it just asks me to do it again as I'm in a dying loop :S
Thankfully my game sorted itself out and let me continue. looks like as soon as the game loaded, my tank plunged straight into deep water lol.
The game is head and shoulders above the second one for me and actually interesting. The fact that fighting the ceph doesn't seem like a chore like it did on crysis 2 is a massive bonus in my eyes.
Just got this, thanks to someone messing up and giving me Crysis instead of Tomb Raider when I bought a 7850 Its actually cost me £15-20 because I would had sold Tomb Raider but couldnt stop myself from trying Crysis
Only played about 30mins of team deathmatch, quite enjoying it. Doesnt run to bad, it defaulted to everything high, looks great and gets a good 40-70FPS, mostly 60. I may reduce it as 40FPS does feel a little choppy in heavy gunfights.
My saves seem to be crashing constantly now. As soon as it loads, the game freezes at the end of the loading screen and back to the desktop once I press any button!
Anyone play this online? I personally love it! It's extremely smooth for me with SLI, I've never noticed stutter at all. My Origin is illuz93 if you want to game some time:
