*** Official DCS World Thread ***

Yeah I was debating over it but decided that as it's £7 more and I'm a skint b, I'll just try one for now as I don't get too much time to game anyway. These 3 should give me more than enough play for the moment.

F15 is a great plane to fly and fight in in DCS (especially now with its AFM), but its single player campaign plain sucks, as do all campaigns made by Matt Wagner (sorry Matt, no offence :)) I really liek the SU25 campaign (made by Dzen I believe and I think he also made campaigns for Su27/33 and Mig29 - not flown them, waiting for Su27 AFM).

But anyway- Black Shark2 is FANTASTIC in every way- the craft itself and SP content is very good too with official "Deployment" campaign and the used to be payware but now free "Vergeev Group" campaign. Terrific training missions too. So definitely good choice with Ka-50! :)

Bought yesterday, starting to work through the training.

Good to hear! I heard good things about the Huey so I was comparing the two. A few people said the Huey really benefits from pedals whereas the Black Shark 2 didn't need it, thus I bought that one. Plus the better choice of weapons

Huey is cool for a quick fun flight, but Ka50 is on a different level in terms of power, speed, ergonomics, navigation, targeting, firepower, autopilot...

Cant wait to fly around some EDGE cities (although Huey will be awesome there just the same:))

Buyers remorse , is what you get from Digital Currency Simulator if you do not buy stuff in the sales

I wouldn't pay more than about £10-£15 for the MIG-21

I always pay full price or buy the same module twice in the sales so that the developers get all they deserve. They work hard with the community to get these planes out.
