The Mig19 arrives tomorrow. The videos look interesting.
Also some new "feature". There's a lot of speculation on the ED forums, but I can't imagine it being anything ground breaking, despite hoping that it'll be Vulkan implementation or a the dedicated server that's currently in test.
The F14 is getting closer. Looks like we'll have that in the next 3 weeks! Looking forward to that.

Could this be the improved vr support they've been talking about..
They’ve called it a feature, which sounds to me like new functionality and not performance. Have to say that I’d rather have a better frame rate.

Well that was definitely not expected. Not only did we get the Mig19 and enhancements to a number of aircraft including the F18. We also got the first version of the dedicated server.
My initial testing is suggesting that it's definitely reducing resource requirements on my PC, so that's excellent news.

The F14 is now AVAILABLE. Will be downloading when I get home from work. So looking forward to that.
Wouldn't mind, but I gave in and bought the Mig19 last weekend. Have to say that I like the 19. Feels like a Mig15 on steroids and is definitely easier to fly than the Mig21.
I'm also definitely sold on the dedicated server option. My vaguely complex mission can be happily hosted by our spare 8GB of RAM laptop, and with the offloading of AI logic from my gaming PC, results in a very nice frame rate improvement.
Talk about good times...
Now, about that 370 page F14 manual.
