*****Official Deus Ex 3: Human Revolution discussion thread*****

It's great that you can flush all the toilets and turn all the taps in the game on! Always liked this feature in Deus ex, it makes for some hilarious shenanigans if you're in the mood for it.

You can also pick up and chuck most things around, went to this blokes apartment to receive a reward for saving his wife in a previous level, and spent most of the time turning on all his taps and flushing the toilets, also robbed his safe and repeatedly chucked a cardboard box at him! It's good to be silly sometimes. :o:D

Silliness aside, it seems like a great game from the demo, really looking forward to receiving my full retail copy today, shame we can't activate until tomorrow though.

Yep, unless you use the VPN trick. I'm tempted but don't really know what I'm doing, and don't want to risk a Steam ban. Might just have to wait until midnight on Thursday, or whenever it unlocks.

It's a piece of cake to use the VPN 'trick'. :)

Create the VPN (which take 10 seconds in Windows), connect to Steam, game unlocks, restart Steam offline, play game.

Nor did I.

Oh and a word of warning to those without an SSD, load times are dire! It can take up to and over a minute to load a save and levels. Frustrating if you need to keep re-loading after dying.

I think a minute is a bit of an exaggeration, 30 seconds at most.

Couldn't be bothered to wait so used a vpn to activate it. Only played an hour but enjoying it a lot. If it carries on in this vain then Eidos have done a very good job.

Game usually has stuff delivered on a Thursday for Friday releases, only the once did I receive something later on the Friday (which is release day anyway).
