Ah coolio thanks bud..

One last thing I have burnt T mods CD7 and it works fine but I'm at a loss as to which BIOS to use and flash with ???

Motherboard box sticker says - NF4U91-134M

But for the life of me I can't find that model under NF4 list, do I just pick the lastest date and flash??

Thanks for your help lads ;)

What motherboard do you have?

Dig up old thread time!
I posted another thread about this but probably better off posting in here. I've got a problem with this board and the power. I can only boot the pc if i switch off my psu for about 30 secs beforehand. I can play in bios and reset the system and do everything 100% rock solid, but when i've switched off the pc and come back to it later it won't boot until i turn off the power pack for 30 secs.
Anyone got any ideas, power supply is 460 w and should be enough.

One thing i have noticed is that when the pc powers down the little memory led powers off and i'm left with only the led in the bottom corner. After having psu off for 30 secs and switching back on, both these leds are on.

it's the ultra - d version.

One thing Ive found through trial and error is that this board doesn't like some keyboards and kvm switches.

To resolve I changed the 'PS/2 Power Select' jumper to pins 2-3 (5VSB) and mine boots everytime.

Which is the best LAN port to use on the ultra d?

I've been using the Nvidia 1 but it kept cutting off all the time does anyone have any ideas as to what could be causing this ?

I've just plugged into the bottom Lan port the marvell 1 id this the better of the 2 to use?

Thanks

Anyone know which SATA connections are locked on the SLI-DR?

All of them are AFAIK.

As for which LAN port, I always used the Nvidia one without problems for my main network connections, and the Marvell one was hooked up to my second PC for gaming duties. Never had problems with either.

Uninstall the Forceware Network Manager thingy (you probably accepted to install it when installing the chipset drivers). That gave me no end of hassle with the nV port!
