Might just be a driver issue causing the reboots. Worth a try.

well i just got the brand new nvidia NF4 drives, they have a lan update in them.

so i have to wait and see if all goses well.

just tryed to get the other lan working on the mobo, all i get is the blue screen again so looks like than one is a no go.

Gaz,
if you read first post they list the latest drivers , but most pppl are running the other LAN anyway, since the Nvidia one is a little twitchy and needs the MAC addy manualy puttting in.

its does seem a little bit of a lotto with some TCCD on NF4's, but be something to do with the packaging/layout.
If ppl are having problems with corsair ram, pls give as much info from their label as possible
The Corsair is working a treat (though I also unplugged the floppy power connector from under the CPU at the same time I switched the RAM modules). 265 x 9 so far at 2.5,3,3,7 1T 1:1 timings.

Starting to get some nice results:

300HTT 1:1 passes memtest test 5 21 times (good enough for me)

Bumped the multi to 9 for some superpi:

nice dave, my gskill LE does exactly the same with this winchester and the dfi

im hitting 290 2.5-3-3-7 and 300 2.5-4-3-7 all with 2.6v and let it have 20 passes of memtest

Just a quick query. I have 3 120mm fans in my sonata case at the moment i have them powered by the PSU (Tagan 480w) and they are really noisy, mind u i do have the side panel off, if i put the side panel back on would that make a difference? I had to put them on the PSU cos they have molex connectors and i dont have any adapters yet.

So if i get these adapters and plug the fans into my DFI board will this reduce their sound as they are tempreture controlled??

Or is it worth splashing out and getting a fan controller like the Akasa one?

if there on 4 pin molexs chances are they draw to much power for you to be able to plug them into the motherboard (will blow the fan header) best to get a fan controller :)

side panel will only make a very slight differance, but its better than nothing ;)

Well on the one on the CPU I can definitly see that it is a 3 pin connection with a molex power cable in it, if i plut this one in will this blow the fan header?? Not sure on the other 2 will have to have a look tonight

Just got my DFI NF4 SLI-DR set up over the weekend.
Have a couple of questions.

What max vcore using the standard heatsink/fan ?

Which memory timings do i change manually ( Its a big list ) ?

I have 2 identical Maxtor 80Gb SATA hard drives which are detected in the bios but not seen by windows. Any suggestions ? ( Not in a raid array )

Is the smartguard or Ntune actually worth using ?

I used this guys settings:

http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=52835

Can get you an actual photo of my bios if you like, but these are a good start.

VChipset is 1.6V

VDimm is 2.8V

VHtlink (or whatever its called) set to +0.1V of stock

HT Multi to 3

Errata 94 enchancement - Disabled

HTT to 300
