Official DFI NF4Ultra-D/SLi owners thread.

Just tried that an my CPU hit 60 deg never got anywhere near that with anything else. Running @2.6 with 1.52v 290*9 mem @237 2,2,2,7

Got my mach 2 fitting kit & Gskill LE this morning.

So tomorrow will see

So will be able to give it a bit more juice an see what it'll do, 2.7 on stock cooler @ 1.52v so looking good..
 
Come back to comp tonight and all I get is three red lights on on motherboard and it does nothing, anyone any ideas?

P.S. have taken it out of comp case and stripped it and it still does same....question can the graphics card be seated in either pcie port?
 
Voltage Doesnt help my winnie much at all, Iv had it up as high as 1.85 for a quick test, but generally id be happy to leavbe ti running 24/7 anywhere between 1.6-1.7 i actually only use 1.55 but thats cause extra volts dont seem to help.

Also my winnie is a 90 quid winnie so i dont care 2 much if it died

i got same problem, tried allsorts, same 3 leds everytime, :mad:
matt , if you solve it please post up.
right now i've had it,gonna pack it up for rma

What revision of board have you got?

Have you tried gcard in other port?

Have just tried mine with no gcard and it goes down to one light and the speaker beeps.

Anyone got any ideas?

P.S. May just rma the board - it has to go back to dfi direct don't it?
 
got rev AAO , got 2 x 6800gts , tried them single, double, with, without , same with other bits , differant ram,single in all ports ,power leads, hdd, cd,floppy, all with and without,i get no sound or bleeps , just 3 lights every time,spent all day on it. gonna take of battery overnight and see.
 
Mine is revision AA0 using single 6600gt, 512mb Corsair...

Does yours ever show four lights at start up or not?

Also is the power led on or flashing, mine is sometimes flashing other times it's just on.


Try without gcards and without ram and see what happens.

Just been going through problems on dfi-street with a guy - he advised sending the board back.

Has anyone RMA'd a board if so how long does it normally take?

Diagnostic LEDs (above J15 - p56 of PDF manual)

LED 1 to LED 4 are diagnostic LEDs. These LEDs will indicate the
current condition of the system.

Save me reading through this huge topic,
I want to get an Ultra-D but I hear chipset cooler is loud and close to the PCI-E slots. What suitable passive or 'silent' coolers will fit alongside a 6800 or X800?

yep, gonna RMA this mobo, but who to ?first call gotta be Ocers or straight to DFI?. got this mobo thursday :(

fan is not to loud but theres no space as 6800 card goes right over it ,1-2 mm gap
