Official DFI NF4Ultra-D/SLi owners thread.

I read somewhere that the Nvidia LAN offered lower CPU overhead and slightly better performance so I use that.

I did originaly use the Marvell LAN and no issues realy.

You need Nvidia drivers for the top LAN socket and Marvell for the lower one.
 
Got my dfi nf4 dr board today and tried an iunstall with the following kit:-

amd 64 3200 - cbbhd 0447upaw
Cooler 64 coolers
asus 6600gt - gcard
corsair 512mb 4400 mem single dimm

Right the problem is when I power up I get nothing on screen, looking at the red leds on board they stay at 4 red ones so what could be the problem?

lol mine shows 23oC.......but i think my DFI temp probe is fubar :D

(itll soon show -50 or whatever though, if i ever find a new cpu thatll work with my mach2)
 
I think Mrbios lives in a deep freeze :)

Roakes, when you installed the Nvidia drivers it gives you an option if yo uwish to instal the firewall. If you selected no, then its not installed.
If you want to uninstall it, I believe you can do it from the uninstall feature
 
Forgot to add, tried removing bits at a time and still get just the four red led's lit and the 2 orange ones.....

Just removed the heatsink and the cpu is cold to the touch - does this mean the cpu is dead?

P.S. Now got it booting, had to remove battery.

P.P.S. installed drivers in windows, just got a problem with usb's not working.

having problems with this board,first boot up went fine, installed bios 310, tried installing new raid drivers,some fine txl missing so installed raid driver i had before ( asus nf4 ) ,went smoothly, installed win xp and sp2, installed nf4 drivers for mobo and gfx (sli),all was ok and left it at that till this morning, switched on and gfx bios screen stayed there longer than norm, reset comp and all was ok , wins update came though and installed it , reset comp , went into bios to change things, next thing display went funny, letering gone, lots of dashes across the screen, i switched of/reset and since then ,unable to boot up, 3 leds up, sometimes 2,depending where i but ram.
tried 1 stick,2 sticks, different ram, different cpu, gfx cards , reset cmos untold times, boot safe mode to,
right now i'm flogging a dead horse and looks like RMA time,wonder if you guys can help, maybe i'm missing somthing, cant see it thou cause i tried everything.
600w psu enermax,fx-55,2 x 6800gt, dfi-sli dr, 2x sata raid0 ,rev2 mem

Im having a real Annoying time with this Board

Iv tryed BH5 and TCCD
both memtest stable real nice and higher then my MSi diamond Neo 4
But prime 95 is proving to be a nightmare to get stable at speeds easily achivable on the MSi, 2.5 Ghz on a mach 2 GT no matter what timings or ram i use. On the MSi this board has been to 2.85 prime stable....
Anyone got any ideas?
Really starting to annoy me now
 
Actually I would wait for riccos reply to confirm - just did a google search on that site - lead me to believe you really need to know what your doing with the tools on there...
