I have just ordered a ultra-d from o/c ,surely if they do send me a rev A00 then they have to accept it back as DFI states that ALL revA00 should be returned to manufacture.

is there anyway to cancel an order with o/c untill i see what rev board they are going to send me ?

Distance selling act, once it arives.

can someone please tell me what pci slot the sticker is on that tells you what revision the board is and where on that sticker it tells you the code,so that i can tell the gentleman on the other end of the phone from o/c uk what he should be looking for ,as he informs me he does not know how to check what revision the board is.
as i have currently put my order on hold untill such time that this information has been provided to me.

Is the sound on these boards good guys? Thinking of ordering one today, but i want good sound?

A quick responce would be good
I am only using 2 speakers and I think the sound is great

update was just speaking to another gentleman from o/c and he was able to confirm that the "top of the pile" from their current batch of ultra-d's are all revr.a02

i have now authorized my order to proceed on this basis,so fingers crossed:D

Just put a PC together last night around the DFI LanParty UT NF4 Ultra-D board.

Only thing I didn't like was when I fitted the sound module, the little white plastic holder is too close to one of the caps on the board and moved it over a little. Not significant though. Also the 120mm fan on the back of my Centurion case needed filing to allow the sound module to fit properly.

System booted without issue and loaded OS again faultlessly. Haven't built a PC in a while so was a bit unsure about PCI-E and those ickle SATA cables but all in all very happy.

I'll let things settle for a few days before making a few mild tweak changes.

Barracuda 80GB SATA HD
And other bits and bobs!

I bought my Ultra-D ages ago from OcUk and that was an A02

Yes I had same problem but I used a dremil to modify the white plastic support rather than bend the capicitor, there is now a 1mm clearance, I posted about this on dfi forum.
You could also use a hot knife to melt a bit out of it so as not to foul!
I do have a pic of it but dont know how to post it, its 65kb. Would be grateful if someone could tell me this
I wonder if the sound issues people are having is because of this
