Ah this is just taking the Pi**, 262x11=2882mhz super Pi is solid.

286x10, 100 passes memtest test 5 and super Pi doesn't even do 1 pass.

Im really annoyed now :( Some excellent TCCD doesnt work, however, I will try looser timings after 2.88Ghz 32mb Pi has passed.

Concorde <-- sad.

Keep at it m8, its bound to be just a setting problem.

have you tried with the 509-1s also?
ahh i also found with the TCCD it can be passing 5&8 but fails in tests4&6 so see if its stable with them and then with the windows memtest.

sorry ricco but have to post this here as first time i managed it stable with OCCT.
one thing i have noticed, thanks to OCCT,is at the higher o/cs the 5V voltage rail fluctuates a little more though it is still within tolerance.must say this OCZ powerstream is a sturdy beast indeed.

come on James boy, raise that vcore and get the 2.9GHz+. ;)

Really, didnt know that! But doesnt that require it needed to be set each reboot?

I will try that after 275x10 has passed 32mb.

Concorde

Edit: I have the mem in the closer slots, 1 + 3 , should it be 2 + 4 that I disable?

yeah but you can save startup settings with A64 tweaker so it does it auto on startup of windows.well for orange slots its disable 0 and 2 so for yellow itll be 1 and 3.

Tried both, gave up! Gonna post on DFI-Street + XS to see if someone had the same problems.

However, 40min of HARD HARD HARD testing now.

10 loops of 2001, Super Pi 32mb, S&M and OCCT all running!

Cocnorde

I have some bad news, it failed. OCCT gave an error 2 mins before the end then it locked up, but I think its heat related as it passed 53C.

280x10 atm then Im gonna sort my water out.

I'm gonna have to stop reading this thread!

Reading about all these O/Cs & currently having a dead system makes me want to cry! :(

Ha! Finally found that I hadn't seated the standard boot jumper properly on my DFI SLI-DR. D'oh!

Spent the past week thinking that my SD was suffering from the Sub Zero bug
Or that the mobo didn't like my RAM, & all it needed was for the jumper to be seated properly!

[me goes off to put head in door jam & close the door a few times]

Formatting my RAID array at the moment, then I'll be able to get clocking this beast ;)

Lol @ the muppetness :D

Can't wait to see the results but make sure you put them the SD thread in the CPU forum - more people with SD results to look at there :)

The muppetness indeed! The amount of pipes in my PC means I have to grope in with a syringe type grabber to move jumpers. That'll teach me.

Will post in the SD thread, although it'll probably not be until next week as I'm house-hunting this weekend. (& also it's Episode 3 day tomorrow! :D )

I have some bad news, my San Diego has a bad memory controller.

What a pitty. Maybe I should get some Redline 2-2-2-6 stuff, but I dont think I can get enough for my TCCD :(

Concorde

Hopefully a BIOS will sort it :(

I dont think your alone matey. All these memory settings, what's the best bios to use etc is giving me a headache. At the end of the day my pc with it's current setup gives me 32k+ marks in 01, 11k+ in 05 and its rock solid stable. I think I just need to relax a bit and just be happy with what I have got and get on and play games, instead of tweeking and benchmarking all the time. TBH all these high fsb, memory timings dont really make that much difference in the REAL world, if any. ;)

Im interested in this Redline 2-2-2-6 stuff though :D

Concorde- have you tried fiddling around with Tref? I found that my LE4400 0440s + DFI NF4 + San Diego wouldn't run > 275 or so with Tref set on 3120 (the auto value). Whereas Tref 1168 (same bandwidth as 3120) let it get to 305.

Might try that cheers fella

My 4400LE 440's just do my head in

Got fed up with them and have been using old khx3500 @250/2,2,2,5 ever since.

Did have them stable for a while @300/2.5,4,3,7 but I can't get them above 4hours prime stable, or even gaming stable which is a must.
