Can anyone answer me this, i have like 60 games installed, and since building new pc last year, i have been using same graphics drivers, so there almost a year old, if i update to the very latest nvidia drivers, do i then have to redo all my games graphics settings ? cheers, oh, im using a gtx780ti.
The settings in the nvidia control panel might reset, not sure how that works, but your settings inside the game will not change as those are saved on their own configuration files which are not affected by the driver update.

Not at all, drivers are separate from in-game video settings.
Should always keep drivers up to date IMO

I don't want to yet, as i want to get my other games finished off before i start this, and they work fine on the drivers im on now.
I can't as it doesn't get that far, it blacks screens before the Bethesda and Id logo at the beginning comes on, so have to task manager kill it.
I'm kind of doubting amd drivers are in a state where you have such a particular set of games that updating drivers will cause them not to work, think you're SLLLLLLLIGHTLY over-blowing that just a tad.

What is the max res of the game?I can only see 1920x1080 option
I have MSI R290X,[email protected] of 2400mhz ram.850watts of psu and a 2560x1600 monitor
I was expecting to be able to run a this res(maybe without all the bells and whistles

Game goes way above 1920x1080 - the aspect ratio might be throwing it off a bit as 2560x1600 isn't very common.
Vulkan seems to have some very minor IQ improvements but seeing no performance difference on any of my setups or settings except occasionally ~10fps lower framerates in some areas.
Not even sure it is working at all the IQ changes seem to be due to the patch.

I haven't noticed much at all so far. Maybe it's even smoother, if that's at all possible. I've no idea if the following observations are anything to do with the patch or not, but I noticed the 'unwilling' by the first gore nest were quite a bit closer to coming up the stairs when I first walked in. And a few enemies sprung high up into the air when I killed them as well. Not sure what that's all about.
Fps seems to be lower.

Add +set r_renderAPI 0 to the launch options.

More evidence that nvidia still doesn't have async compute?
Can't see why nvidia doesn't have full support seeing they was the first to showcase the api running on a 1080.
Wow not kidding. 101fps in the same place as my above screenshots. Big difference with Vulkan then from a single 980 vanilla @ 3440x1440 Ultra settings. This bodes well for future games for sure. Nearly a 50fps increase.
