Still getting random crashes to desktop with no error message very rarely. Putting some more time into SP now and loving it. The arenas full of demons, great music, blood everywhere...awesome fun!
Anyone know of a way to either make the idsoftware / Bethesda logos run smoother at the start, or stop them altogether?
Removing boot_sequence.bik removed the videos (albeit with a lengthy wait), but the game ran terribly. Trying '-novid' in launch options did nothing. Alt+F4 seems ok, though again a lengthy pause before you get to the main menu.
just me or are the graphics not very special and the game runs poorly considering how it looks?

No, mine wasn't listed (Win 7 / cpu is in sig). Looks like you're on 10? Don't know if that would make a difference or not.

Ok i am now tempted by this it just sounds like fun. Would you say it has the same appeal for someone who hasnt any real nostalgia for the originals?
Yep, you don't need to know anything about Doom to enjoy it. It really is the best single player FPS since Shadow Warrior and Wolfenstein imo.

Looks great and runs great on my three year old 780
So I guess it is just you
I'm stuck on one of the earlier levels in the foundry. Ive destroyed 3 of the 4 gore nests and I cant seem to get to the last one.
Can anyone suggest anything for my previous post? I am reinstalling as we speak...
Cheers
