*** Official Dota 2 Thread ***

Sounds like legion commander.

You should have had an easy time in that lane, 2 ranged vs 2 mele.

Plus Dazzle and you are both able to nulify her ult somewhat, with heals, shallow grave, weave, even your ult for the stun could save the day even if it didn't get a kill.

It's all a learning curve :)

Had really good 3 hard games, anybody could win right until the end, started to think matchmaking finally stopped punishing me, everybody plays well, does what they're supposed to. Then comes next game, ogre support refuses to ward the map until he gets arcana boots, people diving into lc at 20% health, aboslutely no map awarness. That ogre claimed he has bee playing dota for 10 years. It is amazing that people can go 10 years without any improvement >_<

Lets see how next game will go >_>

Edit: yeah next game same thing, rambo carry supports, doom in trilane went midas and ignored any events on the map, after I told them to play safe we are behind do not engage, our carry supports kept engaging and kept dying and by 35min they had so much advantage that our only farm doom died like a fly. Good times. Mek wards do not exist in mid 3k mmr

Edit2: third game same thing, This time I supported, flawless wards, dewarding, mek, great map vision, carry am wasn't bad either but the rest, walking pizzas, absolutely useless

Edit3: the "idiots" streak ends for me but begins for somebody else, won a game, a very bad game, my clockwork absolutely destroyed their trilane because their sups were god awful, made them ragequit at 15min, got only 18+ mmr

I see the same rubbish from twitch streams of players sitting on 5.8k-6k MMR.

Also seen sing_sing when he cannot be bothered due to getting a random support hero, playing his own game, pretty much trolling/kill stealing etc.

Amazing player but in solo MMR these guys don't want to play as a team.

Necrophos ia an absolute beast with just a few core items. Get a sceptre and if you kill them with your ulty they cannot buy back. Also the passive dmg skill stacks with radiance so you can melt people just by being in the fight. I also find him a nice counter to Bristle back as the dmg skil is % based and his ult is a nice and easy way to kill him off in a fight. He requires a decent start and good positioning

Draskyl will be be streaming night and playing with his subs( most are around same skill lvl as you and me),always good to watch him as he has great understanding of the game mechanics. These I like watching people play dota 2 more than playing it myself..no idea why.

These [days] I like watching people play dota 2 more than playing it myself..no idea why.

same here mate, always been the way for me. I got interested in Dota 2 quite a while ago, but didn't really enjoy playing it at all. However the game intrigued me so I started watching a few pro matches to gain a better understanding of whats going on.
These days I would say I am pretty knowledgeable, but still can't stand playing the game. I really enjoy watching it though (as long as the caster is up to scratch) - its complex, and the game is great for viewers due to the perspective and draw distances, and also the great ingame casting features.

This thread is pretty funny.

Single draft is terrible, you can get screwed over so hard with your hero options and being unable to swap makes it even worse.

As Purdy said, HoN did AP right. Especially the random at 0 seconds, but also removing random gold.

Necrolite is terrible as a support, he has no reliable anything (outside of ult stun) and is so easily killed if you lack farm.

Puck is OP, especially in pubs because of how hard he/she/it is to kill and you have such a good time in lane vs a lot of heroes. Murray don't be noob, there's no puck "combo" because of how situational the use of all your spells is.

I do however really think Purdy can break the 4k barrier though. All he has to do is drop below it and then play until he is above it.

I'm on my phone so didn't quote what I wanted to so work it out.

However, Dhruvie>Shami/Anuraj.

I just had the best morphling game I could have ever asked for.

I really enjoy Morphling, great hero to play.

In without the net at the as I've just moved house so had a couple of practice bot games. After the Necro take I tried him and he's really good. Stack health and armour them get radiance and you can pretty much stand in the middle of the opposition melting them and self healing (especially if creeps are around) really good hero and looking forward to trying him in a game.

Had my first QoP game too and really enjoyed that hero, quite squishy but you can escape fast then nuke hard hard which is nice :)

Played some single draft yesterday in the solo queue. Picked enchantress, support is always a good pick.

Sproink!

Just played first game as disruptor in all random. What an awesome hero he is, his ulti with aghs is dare I say it OP? Does so much damage, and "oh you think your gonna run away?" nope back u come, and also ull sit in a forcefield u can't' escape from xD

so awesome I went 15-3-31 which was gd really as our lineup consisted of:
windranger
disruptor
qop
silencer
venomance

Won vs mega creeps earlier, I was quite a fed PA and we had a fed Luna with me. So we just barrelled down mid after killing their lifestealer and then straight for the throne. Got some lucky crits on their storm spirit and the supports just melted to us.

Feels good, I thought we had lost.
