Just lost my win record last game, really hacked off. Went Lycan, was 18/7 for the game but crippled by a **** team. They would not team foght, no matter how I tried they just would not commit to a battle as a team and we got picked off one by one every single time. They had a fantastic PA and I could have it solo if not for him but any fight between me and him was 50/50 who would win so with my **** team couldn't get the edge on him.

Took out 5 of the 7 towers we downed and was the only positive k/d. Terrible Pudge who thought he could win it all when he couldn't even hook and a good QoP who thought he could solo everything and just died all the time.

Marauder and Vengeful were just garbage. So irritated I've lost in this fashion, could take it if it was a close game and got edged or we lost and I was poor but to be shafted really irritates me :mad:

If I get a random Pudge in my team it always seems to be auto lose, with him roaming the map missing hook after hook and being completely underlevelled.

I love playing Veng :) got the ultra rare set that can drop, looks badass :D If I can get away with it I play her as a semi carry. Wasted as a support ;)
 
I never used to like Venge but I love playing her now. Such a fun hero to play support and can easily transition to other roles if you get a lot of gold.
 
Had a fun game yesterday which I thought was a lost cause, 2 lanes of rax gone and against a farmed PL.

Luckily the other team were stupid and didn't focus me (being drow and doing all the dps)

We had a void who was underfarmed, but he was landing good chronos and I was just melting their cores.

In the end 3 of us went to end the game, while lion battled creeps in our base valiantly, void was afk.

But they all came in 1 at a time and got destroyed. My mate was the lion on skype and he was confused when we won the game as he was too busy fighting creeps in our base.

I find Pudge to be played either fantastically or complete garbage, you rarely get anything in between :p

Because only one lane was pushed up to our base.

Straight down mid (the other lane that was down) take out towers and straight for the throne, no messing around.

Agility is nice on Drow, attack speed is nice on Drow, movement speed is nice on Drow & I guess bonus damage and hp aren't so bad either. You could do a lot worse than S&Y.

These are all reasons why Yasha is a good item on Drow, but it should be built into Manta Style rather than S&Y. Most items are "good" on everyone but there are so many better ways to spend the extra 2k gold for Sange.

Manta isn't really that great on drow either, because her illusions don't benefit from the extra agility given from the ult.

There is a difference between mmr and itemisation :rolleyes:

I'm happy to experiment and try new builds (even if it means making mistakes) rather than blindly following the proscribed builds the game gives you. You wil never learn anything if you just stick to a formula (IMO :p)
