Aye, I agree, particularly Merlini - he's hands down the best dota caster. Supreme game knowledge, respected by the community and super professional.

That's what makes Zyori so jarring as his co-caster. He's got poor game knowledge, a lot of the community think he's a joke and has a track record of making amateurish mistakes.

I think Merlini and SyndereN are my favourite "analytical" casters for the same reasons you listed above. LD is probably my favourite "play-by-play" caster because he keeps things energetic without it being too noticeable, like Tobi shouting NUUUUU NU NU NU NU or Ayesee trying too hard with his radio voice/catchphrases.

I agree 100% LD and Merlini are the perfect combo. LD for his enthusiasm and strange anecodtes/references and Merlini for his game knowledge

About the only caster I don't like is Lumi - really can't stand him :s

oo you're at the same MMR region as me. I always thought i was in the dredges far lower than everyone here! (I'm on something like 2470 at the moment, game won't let me break 2.5)

Aww that's mean. I think she is what we need for a female gaming figure. Not all this "amazon wishlist" fake chick crap I keep seeing. I see Twitch scream out sell out because of her voiceover for that betting site but no one would turn that down. If people want to make a career out of gaming then people need to pay bills to do it fulltime.

LD + Merlini for grand finals of TI4 plz Volvo. Quite looking forward to seeing what these Hubs have in store for us with regards to the qualifiers. Pity BTS and The GD Studio couldn't just have all the coverage between them, from one area... regardless of how impractical it might be due to the distance. But it seems fair... BTS have to prop up Ayesee and The GD Studio has to prop up Tobi.

Just had a terrible game.

Horrific picks from my team. They had bat, shaker, bounty and treant. Just hopeless and had no real idea what to pick to help that mess and was despairing so just went sniper noob as I knew we had lost.

We duly obliged, bat was 0/17 bounty 3/9 treant 2/9 and shaker about 3/9 I had zero support or help and no one warded or dusted against a weaver and Riki. Riki noob completely dominated and it was terrible. I was only 5/10, it was completely hopeless made worse as is knew we had lost before I had even picked

Best laugh was bounty was 3.4k, god knows how, as he had zero situational awareness, didn't know how to gank or how to even use bounty. Was terrible.

He was playing in-house games and I got into a caster slot... Whenever Rime (unfortunately one of the few good UK dota players, he's an idiot) went for Roshan I made sure the other team knew about it. It was a fairly trolly game, so I wasn't too out of line. Tobi got mad. Twitch chat got madder.

Probably. It was not a seriously game, didn't count for anything and was funny, so I have no regrets.

Anyone have the issue the after winning a game they can't reconnect to the steam network?

Last 2 nights I have played a game and on returning to the menu screen it goes "connecting to dota2 network" and is stuck on this forever. The only thing that fixes it is a complete computer restart which is OTT.


Anyone had this and anyone know a quick fix?

Those are ok picks, bat mid, bounty solo off, tree + es support. Its a bit melee heavy but I have seen much worse teams. Batrider is seriously strong hero and the other three by no means garbage.

Pretty much this. That's a decent enough draft. If you had picked a ranged carry that would complement it nicely
