*** Official Dota 2 Thread ***

Holy freaking amazingballs!!!!!!!

Used this guide;

Played aggressive ganker TP and wholly **** it's amazing. I didn't quite follow that build but when I had Mask, Drums and Treads I was melting them. At one point it took me around 5 seconds to kill Witch, Templar and Enigma on a solo gank :D went 5/0/9 and would have been a lot more if game had pasted longer.

That's me done with the 10 challenge but it has inspired me for more TP play! :D

Worked really well. I think as the guide says trying it in anything but a pub will see you getting your face smashed in but I don't think many people expect a sudden treant in their midst wiping them out in a few hits. Was great fun!

Why would I not be serious and why would I make a blog?

I know some people in this thread take this game way to seriously with you being pro's and all....... yeah, but the amount of "you must follow x formula" is a bit depressing.

In other news I won my daily with Gyro, fun hero, should I add this too my blog? Or can I maybe continue to post in the dota2 thread which I assumed was its purpose?
 
It might have worked that game but if a tree on my team was buying mask of madness instead of things like wards/support items then I'd be really annoyed.
 
I agree and early game I said I'm playing tree as a nuker so we took another support, I'm not going to pick a support and run gank squad to shaft my team.

Similar to people taking Necro as carry and not support (ok Necro is actually viable and recognised :p) if you let people know you can plan the team.
 
Keeper has the highest base damage in the game if you don't factor in Tiny's ult. He can actually work pretty good as a carry but then again most heroes can. I don't see the problem as long as you don't do it in my ranked game I wouldn't have an issue with it. So many people in this game have closed minds about items and hero roles

I know it's riveting reading all the theory crafting you put in here with you being a fantastic player and all but if the rest of us can get a word in edge ways please?

But keep up all the good work with the really informative posts, they just keep me coming back for more :rolleyes:

Oh no, I'm not bringing that into a ranked game no worries about that :p though a random pub ranked it would do ok any co-ordination could shut it down hard.

Not to jump in to defend newts but he has a point.

This is a dota2 thread to discuss the game, and your enjoyment with it. If you don't like the discussion then don't come into the thread?

Other people post about their games and how it went and not once have you picked up on others for it. I think you having a dig is a bit of a **** move.

Wind your neck in and let people talk about the game in the thread. Its what its here for... :confused:
 
I wouldn't bother using this thread for serious dota discussion, it is what it is. I just use other forums for talking about dota.

Nice anything is possible and can work in pubs under the right circumstances dont let tryhards tell you otherwise.

If a tree was buying mom ganking and owning in my game I would be the first to commend him.
