Just wait until the wards expire, you can transition back into jungle support necro at 10 minutes in with your quelling blade. In the meantime you can go and leech xp from your hard carry.

I don't think I explained myself well Monster. You are right only going for those two items is not a big deal but in my opinion Bloodstone is a really greedy item. If you are playing support Necro I am having trouble finding how going arcane > Mek > bloodstone is helping the team in a big way.

If things are going well and a harder support playing position 5 is taking care of the wards etc, I would probably aim towards pipe (If they have a load of magic dmg) or Shivas if they have a more right click orientated enemy lineup. Also. If I wanted to be really greedy I would rather build a heart on him seeing as Necro needs some items to actually tank up and you want to stay alive as long as possible so the passive heart stopper aura is inflicting dmg constantly and allowing you to spam your dmg/heal combo throughout the team fights.

I have quite a negative view on bloodstone in general though, just really see it as an item to get on a few select heroes (Timbersaw, Storm Spirit, Death Prophet) The rest of the time I would look for an item that offers similar mana/health regen but can help the team more.

For example,

A lot of the old hero guides for Storm Spirit would be rushing bloodstone but it's safe to say going bottle > treads > orchid benefits the team way more.
 
Bloodstone Storm can do way more for the team if he gets it early.

Most item builds really depend on the game you are in.

Agreed Murray,

I might have a preferred way to build a hero but every game you should be looking at the opposing team and building towards what is necessary and then adapting depending on how the game is going.

Any news on mustys job yet newts? Can't get on steam friends at work at the moment to ask him.
 
Is there a easy way to swap items you have bought that are going to be transferred by the courier if your inventory is full. I currently select the courier and stop it and drag and drop but Im guessing there must be a easier way?

I'll be around tonight I think, I do want to get an early night though so it might be 1 game for me then bed! Will have to see how I feel tonight I guess!
 
Every time I fancy trying this game, I come to this thread and find some kind of drama going down. Is it often like that in-game? Would kind of put me off giving it a go, to be honest. :p

In the event that that isn't the case, where should I start reading to see what's what? :)
