Gives you the ticket to watch the tournament matches in dota, you still get all the immortal items, couriers etc. up to the level you unlock it to. Well worth it :) You don't miss out on anything buying it now compared to someone who bought it at the start (albeit the qualifiers have finished now, but you can go back and watch those if you so wish, highly recommend one of the navi ones, might have been their game against YeS)
 
Played a game last night and the other team had a player with a huge MMR difference over us, he was 4.7k and our top player was 4k.

They went head to head mid Tusk vs TA, and the 4.7k player just destroyed our mid and then went round destroying everyone else.

They did have some lower MMR players obviously, but it really didn't matter, he controlled the game early and then they just 5 manned from about minute 15 and won.

First time I have been just massively outplayed, no matter what I tried, this dude was just too good.

Was the 4.7k on the TA?
 
anyoen having this issue?

If i minimize dota while in a game it changes to borderless window rather than full screen.

I have 3 monitors so when i try to side scroll the curse goes to those monitors instead. I have to go into options and set it to full screen again.

I recently put windows 10 on and never had a problem before this.


Anyone experiencing the same and know if there is some option that is checked?

I've just started playing this again, and I think that any support who helps the team be less **** works out well at lower MMR. Ogre (teh stuns), CM (teh mana), Dazzle (teh heals), Omni (teh shields+heals), Earthshaker (teh stuns + team dmg) are the order of the day. I'm about 70% win rate with those. The less said about my win% with other heros the better!
 
I think you are right to an extent but the problem I have with solo queue support is that leaves me entirely at the behest of a carry who I don't know and have no idea how good he is. It could work well but equally it could go horrific.

I find I prefer playing carry so at least my fate is in my own hands (to an extent) whereas with support you are entirely reliant.

Actually had a perfect example last night. Went Rubick to support and then our Undying was guff and intentional feeding. He wasn't the main carry but we were essentially stuck with 3 people and if only I had went carry too we could have won. As it was we lost on a base race :(
 
I mostly play support and have climbed from 4.1 to 4.4 so I don't think that you HAVE to play carry. Supports win the or lose the early game most of the time and that is usually a good precursor for the rest of the game. Some support heroes fall off later into the game, some don't.
