I didn't need one. They never targeted me because I was always at the back with my bear running around killing people.

I didn't really see OD as a problem. Drow is the person that was killing my whole team :p

It went through a phase of crashing my computer, then a phase of just crashing to desktop. Tried every suggested fix I could find, just deleted it off my computer and reinstalling fresh.

Anyone else had issues like this?

Mine has Blue screened recently nearly everytime I play it for some reason. hasn't done it for a few days but I'm expecting it too. I just thought it was because I had Spotify streaming and youtube on in the background, but my PC should handle it easily.

I just... I just don't know what to do. I don't understand why never playing a character before means that you can't pull back and not die. I'm right in saying you can still click and move backwards on the map with all the heroes right????!!!???!? lol

But yeah. The Matchmaking seems to be broken. I know I'm not great but this is getting silly.

Oh and at 12 minutes into the match we had already had 12 deaths. 1 death a minute...

I get this a lot, its like they just feed on purpose sometimes. I also notice that even when queuing alone the team never seem to communicate and then moan when three different people all want to go mid..

One impressive thing about the score card is that all the dire team finished on the same amount of gold :p
 
Are you in the OCUK guild Tobes? You could try ask for some people to play with the chat is fairly populated, its certainly better than playing with randoms.

If your solo queuing the best way I've found with solo queuing is just to play support chances are everyone else will pick a carry and you will be the only support but buying wards and stopping ganks helps far more than having an extra carry could ever do.

Other than than I think Bill and Ted said it best "Be excellent to each other" being nice and helping people goes a long way :) .
 
Managed to fix the game eventually but in doing so killed the sound :p but at least I can play, well actually not, off away to work again tomorrow morning :(

Managed one more game and won, played the guy who can stealth Marauder? Not through choice got dc'ed during select and came back in with that character assigned. Not a bad class but prefer ranges, now 5/3 win record :)
 
Anyone good at knowing how rare certain couriers and effects are here?

I unboxed one of the boxes the other day Treasure of rubiline sheen and got a unusual courier straight away first unbox pretty happy with this However where colour and effect are there is nothing so went into game and tried it.. normal courier then after todays update no change to the info but now has an unusual effect in the game one ive never seen

Patch notes for the 23rd:

Pudge: Meat Hook now pulls the target to the initial hook position regardless of where Pudge is

RIP Fountain hooking :(

I could be wrong but didnt the new update give a overall boost to the creep/hero particle effects?

I think they do a overall view of hardware used and then tweak engine graphics from time to time, why else would they gather so much info on it. Suggesting that most players rigs can more than out handle dota? Probably wrong though.
 
Really started to not want to play this game now, players completely throwing the game and blaming everything on me.

Just had a puck that was telling everyone to report me for not having completing my Manta style below 30 minutes, while he sold all his items for boots of travel and then proceded to solo lane getting picked off by Naix bomb's.

I can deal with losing, however this is just completely silly and beg's to question some peoples trail of thought.
