It was sold to them by DR along with the code for DNF for an "undisclosed amount". Rumoured to be around $15-$20 million.


To be honest im not really happy with Gearbox being the owners of the ip, theyve been caught talking out of their ass in the past about games supposodly developed for pc entirely seperate from the console. BIA series for example, first 2 games on the pc were blatently ported from the xbox yet they maintained that were developed seperately.

I admire Pitchfords enthusiasm about Duke, but thats as far as it goes.

Someone on this forum said they'd eat poo if dnf ever came out. Who was it? And does someone have a HD camera locally?
 
Yeah not long now. My excitement level has gone up a notch now I got the confirmation email saying it's on it's way.

I just hope there is plenty of fun to be had in this. I remember having a lot of fun when playing Duke Nukem 3D. Like you say though, 2 days to go. We'll soon find out :)
I hope the mini bust and book are as good as I am expecting :)
 
I recall playing some levels on Duke Nuked 3D over and over they were so much fun!

I also remember modding some of the scripts to introduce stuff...
 
I'll propbably get banned for saying this but I don't even know what it's about. I remember playing it on the first play station about 12 years ago, but that was at my mates house so I've got maybe 2 hours of experience with it lol

This will not stand, you get Duke 3D on gog.com IMMEDIATELY and play it through, only a true Follower of Duke may receive his blessing this friday, all others will receive an empty pack of gum:p.

I'm tempted to rebuy it again actually actually. :)

Any one got any details on the HD pack and if it works with the GoG version?
 
Hmm I'm not sure but I always could read a review of a game before it'd come out. Don't game developers send a game to be reviewed a couple of days before it is released?
