The consoles have no day one protection, Steamworks does.

I would hardly call not playing a game until release day getting the shaft.

I for one am thankful the game utilises Steamworks to be honest.

For those looking for the PC Collectors edition, I see HMV have it relisted on their site ready for dispatch. Guess they didn't sell out their original allocation.

Lookin forward to playing it when i get it. I duno why ppl are concerned with gfx and 90s style gameplay which is exactly what im lookin for with this game tbh since i hear its got that style of game design and not modern stuff which i just dont like much tbh as im a fan of the older gameplay styles.

Gfx dont seem too bad imo sure could be nicer but long as gameplays good and gfx are adaquate then im happy.

Indeed. I ordered Cataclysm 2 months ago...it arrived on Monday. Between that time I ordered it elsewhere, played it and got bored of it.
