*** Official Elder Scrolls MMO Thread ***

You can buy one from the store, for about £10 I think.

In game options start at around 17,000 gold, which is the same speed as the Imperial horse , and the next horse up from there is about 42,000 I think.

Takes a while to build up 17,000 gold.

Obviously if you want 1 horse for each of your characters, then you would have to build up 17,000 gold on each character. Whereas if you have the imperial edition, you can buy an imperial horse for 1 gold, so you can get every character a horse straight away.

Cheers mate.

Yeah, I know you can convert but you can't make (unless you're an Imp of course). I didn't buy it but it surprised me as it's quite a price for a racial book (saying that, I'd pay that for any of the rare ones bar the Ancient Elf).

My next bag upgrade is quite hefty (about 9k I think) so 250 a day is small fry :D

Currently sitting at 102 inventory spaces and 90 bank ones.

Yh think my bank is also at 90 atm. Crafting materials take up so much space!

Any had the issue since yesterday's security patch access codes aren't being sent to your linked account?

I swear at times this game just doesn't want me to play :p

Just had to reroll. Got to VR2 (5% from VR3) and i've found out that Nightblade's DPS is terrible for PvE content.

Surely the class skills can't all be terrible? One of the big selling point is that you shouldn't have to be limited too much by the class you choose?

From all the promise this game has delivered and the hype you had, I hope you don't burn out due to feeling the need to min-max. I feel like I have played too much at 1 and a half days /played and I'm only level 22.

Whats peoples verdict on this then? Only real mmo I've played is wow, which I played for many years both hardcore and casual. I'd only really have time to play this casually but it interests me as I love morrorwind/oblivion/skyrim. Is it easy to get into?

The problem is with the nightblade you provide the lowest single target DPS and AOE, least useful synergies and hardly any group benefits.

I'll explain in the morning, going to bed.

Very easy to get into. I have almost been playing it as a single player experience for a large part of the time when I only have an hour or so to play. Its nice being able to do quests solo but have plenty of people around in case its too hard or you get lonely. Although things such as crafting and veteran content can be quite complex, the core of the game is easy to learn.

I've only played solo but have enjoyed every minute of it so far. I think you'll like it too given your past experience & interest in Skyrim etc.

Has anyone seen this? Looks's 1000's times better then Elder Scrolls, the character selection menu is very large which allows you to do almost anything. You can build homes, farm, fish, craft and everything else. They are currently working on a English client but you can still play it.

I had a go at Sorcerer got to 15 but wasn't enjoying it that much so switched to templar and seem to like it at bit more only level 12 atm but gone dual wielding and seem to do a good amount of damage.

Anyhow if there is a OCK Guild I would love to do some grping with u or chatting :) send a invite to @vorlon

My Sorcerer is 16 now but I'm still having a blast. I spend most of my time rocking a 2h with some spells & pets as backup. With Sith hands for when I'm feeling really mean;) It is getting a little confusing attempting to balance Stam/magicka but I'm working on it.

Can anyone recommend a good mouse with just enough extra buttons to map all the skills on?

Was looking at the ShotgunBros Ballista mk1 but it seems 2 of the handy extra buttons cant bet mapped to anything else but sensitivity.

Don't compare it to the other elder scrolls games or you will be disappointed. Ive enjoyed the game at times but at others it can get abit annoying, its very easy to die and combat can sometimes be laggy (for me and a few others ive spoken to at least) which will get you killed more often. Im disappointed there is no auction house to take advantage of but there are guild auctions so if you want to trade you have to join a guild and there are plenty of them recruiting, you will find them amongst the gold spammers on zone chat.

For the dungeons - is there an auto grouper/queue? And what level is the first one?

Need an auction house for sure! Always loved the way the trading company worked in GW2.

Enjoyed playing last night - like Skyrims bigger brother in a way :D

Noticed that you cant pick pocket NPC's which is a shame cause I used to enjoy being a thieving ******* Skyrim lol :p ;) Also the bow play is very simple, cant zoom in, cant hold your breath (using your stamina etc), but I guess there are always going to be differences in play from the games to MMO

Did run into a HUGE bug tho last night. When I was fighting a mob and I jumped up and over it, the map glitched and I was in the sky! Logging off and back in again, and I was still in the sky, but this time I was falling and screaming. Couldnt quick travel to anywhere, and after logging off again and going back in, I was at the edge of the map in a corner! Could then quick travel back to a town, but it happened 4 times last night...was very odd

Is there a place to report bugs? I am guessing on the official forums, but has anyone else reported anything?

Thieving is coming, they are working on a Criminal system to come with the Thieves guild.

Press C to open your character window, then across the top is a large ? which you can click to access the GM help stuff.

There is a "group finder" that works like a dungeon que in other mmo's, but it's a pain in the bum most of the time as it doesn't look for what is needed for the dungeon aka 2 dps, 1 healer 1 tank. It just groups 4 people together so you usually end up in a group of 4 dps and fail hard :/

Also an AH would be great, but there are plent of "trading" guilds around.
