*** Official Elder Scrolls MMO Thread ***

I think it's very safe to assume Eames, that there will be one more before headstart. They need to test the widespread changes they've made on test (the public at large are a better barometer than their own testers) and I'd imagine they'll need to test the EU megaserver; although if it's identical to the US one they may not bother.

To anyone who's experienced previous ESO betas, how much pve, levelling or grinding must you complete before unlocking the siege war pvp mode? That's the main draw for me but is it a level playing field or is it more like GW2's WvW system where your character's up-levelled to 80 but still uses their basic gear?

I had a quick search through the thread but couldn't find this answered. Apologies in advance if it's already been discussed :)

You can go into the "frontier" (sorry, ex-daoc player, so all PvP zones in all MMOs ever since are called Frontier to me :D ) , anyway...you can go there from level 10 onward. Similar to GW2, you do get boosting.

so basically once im 10 i can go pvp for the rest of my life then? i played DAOC for 3yrs, Hib Excal mainly but also had some Mid and Alb Ywain toons later in life, i loved DAOC, if this game is being touted as DAOC 2 with better graphics then that right there is enough to take my money for a few years.

Now just need to decide what to play ;) im thinking a Mentalist or Theurg type build :)

It took me about 10 hours to get to level 10, you could most likely do it faster because i didn't know all the quests and did run into a couple of bugs that stopped me from completing some quests.

Officially it's 5PM but as docsonic says, the last few have started early.

Let's hope it's a tradition they continue with; I need to work toward seeing if a ranged Temp is more fun than a melee one.

No player collision, I just can't get over it. How can that not be a big deal? I saw a pvp vid. looked amazing, but if I can walk through someone or the walk though someone/or someone me that is just a big minus.
