I'll probably get it on PS4 just for the exploring side of things really. Combat in ES games doesn't interest me in the slightest.

Looks pretty good to me reminds me of Age of Conan. Some say it looks too cartoony but by mmo standards I like it.

I've played so many MMO's recently with fast combat where there are so many spell fx going off you can't even see what you're doing this game should be a refreshing change.

The combat looks better than every other MMO besides TERA so it's hardly average, as far as other MMOs go the combat is extremely good. If it focuses quite heavily on roleplaying and being what you want to be as well as end game stuff, it'll be a must have. No MMO out there can offer anything except raids these days, maybe TESO will change that.

What i do not get is why Todd would even agree to this...why.

New MMOs have proven to be utterly pointless, but they do it anyway...

I watched the Everquest Next gameplay before watching this... ESO looks shoddy as **** compared. Even when he brought up his inventory and the way the character turned... looked just so unpolished and crappy - the combat and the effects just looked disjointed; it's on the level of Morrowind - an 11 year old game in how that combat looks :(

just watched bits and prices from the event and totally agree with this

I thought it looked pretty good, i really liked how the combat flowed, it certainly has that Elder Scrolls combat feel to it, which it should! Because its a Elder Scrolls game.

I wonder what the business model will be used for it?

Elder Scrolls combat has to be the worst I've ever experienced.

Exploring the world will be the only appealing thing about this game to me.

Yeah it's pretty bland, gets the job done though. It's certainly better than quite a few RPGs, especially European and Japanese ones. Dark Souls/Dragon's Dogma not included.

Morrowind had the best combat system out of the 3 imo.

Got my Beta invite for the stress test on thursday night, pity my graphic card died and im using onboard graphics :(
