I don't even use that, just literally open the website and buy like I would anywhere else. Not sure if it's tinfoil hat brigade or whether TESO is different and they don't allow anybody outside of Brasil to grab a copy.

Odd. When I tried it wouldn't let me purchase it without the extension. Maybe something they have changed recently to sell more copies.

My only gripe now is........ on release do I make a Argonian Templar healer with a 2h mace (paladin type style), a Wood Elf Nightblade with bow in hand (for some stealthy long shot kills)... the list goes on :p

.

Why not make an Argonian/Bosmer Templer, with a two handed mace who wears a couple of bits of medium armour, and switches to a bow at 15 to take some long range stealthy kills?

Omaeka: you saying you didn't use Hola to get access to Nuuvem is starting to make me think that Latex has used Hola as a trojan to put a virus in my computer that types pro-TESO propaganda!

Or maybe that's me as I really like the game ;)

Incidentally i only played this once a few beta weekends ago, got to the bit where you can take guild quests etc, about lvl10 or so? i enjoyed it but my bro hated it, but on the strength of fact that the PVP is being made by the DAOC guys that alone convinced me to part with my cash for it, also that Nuuvem deal for Imp Edition is too good to pass up.

Looking forward to making a Caster type with pets and aoe death!

That would be logical if i created Hola!, sadly i don't even know how to script! :(

Seems like bots have already found their way into PvP, albeit via external scripting software. Hope ZO do something about that, as PvP with bots is just ...pointless.

Very silly statement to make without any evidence.

I'm aware of an issue with the addon API giving out too much info, which is being changed before release. As I posted above.

The issue is with Tamriel Tactical Combat, it allows a very easy modification to allow a autohotkey program to make an auto interrupt script. But that's cheating in general and hopefully they will have anti cheat software running.

But Ive not read, seen or heard of a single cheat program made for this game yet.

People are botting - what more evidence do you need? I have a friend in PRX, some of whom are in closed beta and it's a problem right now. Players are taking information direct from the frame buffer that ZO's API is providing. AHK has been around for years and yet a month from release, ZO have only just realised their API hands info over to AHK that a 10 year old could set up. I know you hold a candle to this game, but being a (very) jaded MMO player, this kind of thing does not inspire me that the PvP is going to be fun or balanced. I don't really care about the PvE side of it.

Regardless of my comments and my (lack) of faith in ZO, I have still pre-ordered as I'm fed up of the current crop of MMO's.

We shall see :)

I don't mind too much if people bot in PvP, in the past I have always found that bots in PvP simply results in free points for me :D

Contrarily, I actually mind bots in PvE quite a lot more !

I can see how having any pertinent info displayed to an enemy in PvP is worrisome, but I can't say that it affects me because as soon as word gets around about how I'm basically free Alliance points, they won't need to spend any time analysing me :D

Botting bugs the **** out of me. Just look at the state of WoW's PvP to see the effect rampant botting has on that aspect of the game.

Well I gave up on WoWs pvp once it became all about the small scale "arena" PvP, rather than the large scale or better still, open world PvP. I feel that botting has a much larger effect on small arena style PvP than large scale/open world PvP.

But overall I don't mind it in the bigger PvP, at least I should say that it doesn't annoy me half as much as PvE botting, which I thoroughly hate with a passion because those people ruin the entire economy of an MMO.

Open world PvP is my favourite style of PvP as well, sadly it's also the most under used aspect of most MMO's. WoW's has all but vanished, and most other MMO's don't even have any serious open world PvP to begin with. DAoC was the pinnacle of it IMO (before it was nerfed into oblivion), with UO and EverQuest's Tallon Zek server following. TZ was particularly brutal as everything was open world PvP, including 60+ man raid mobs.

I'm really hoping ESO gives the open world PvP community something, but like I said I'm not holding my breath as of now. I'd love to be proven wrong though!

Lol I used to play with a girl who loved to PvP - even though she was hopeless at it. I've never since seen anyone with such boundless enthusiasm getting repeatedly killed so much :D

I'd love a full open world PvP server in ESO, its highly unlikely though, however the PvP is still of a considerable size. Not as big as Daocs, but much larger than GW2s WvW lands.

Sorry you just want me to take your word for it? I'm pretty sure your trolling.

The API has been in closed beta testing for over 6 months and they have already stated the API will be changed before release.

I'd love you to prove your blatant troll. But considering your lying, you will just continue to dodge the proof question and continue down the name calling of me and claiming proof isn't needed. I think you need to go on ignore with newbie, you seem almost as ridiculous as each other. Hate a game, hate devs, stick around in thread to troll the game.
