1:35.058 - T-Cam - Xbox - Medium TC - PC



The handling is awesome. You can really throw the car into the corners this year and take kerbs properly rather than trying to dodge them. I still can't do it without my TC crutch though hahaha :p
 
It took a while to get used to this track again, but I finally managed a lap that I felt wasn't scruffy (all my previous attempts, though not miles off the pace, had me brushing the walls in places and were just a little messy in general).

Although I'm sure I can improve if I banged in the laps, I can't stand the track so won't put myself through the misery of trying.

Anyway...

I wish I could remember! I was changing the engineers setup value by value, went back to it again last night and realised I'd forgotten to save....then couldn't get close to the ghost of my PB :(

Above time was set with front and rear at 11/11, that will give you extra grip.

Nice to see you Merlin as well, have you found good setting for your wheel yet. I am still struggling to get good feel with this game.
 
What is with everyone using traction control! Sissy's! F1 cars don't have traction control!

Best i can manage at the mo is 1.36 something with no assists. Not posting a picture yet as i don't think anyone is not going to believe me on that one! :p
 
Does anyone use a 360 pad with no assists? I have ust been playing with no ABS or brake assist. Full traction control and automatic gears. Makes it playable and fun (no skidding off all the time)

The steering and acceleration is way too sensitive on the 360 pad

Nice time there inam. Took me a while, my DFGT settings feel completely different from F1 2010. In advanced settings, I'm using 0% on everything and 50% steering linearity. Not sure yet if my linearity setting is good or bad. Whereas in 2010, a lot of those settings were up in the 90's. Right now, I've got perfect 1:1 DFGT to steering on screen. FF on 10%, 20%, 20%. DFGT settings at 220% rotation, same I use for all games, overall effects 107%, spring and damper effect 0%, centering spring 0% with 'centering spring' box enabled. Feels good, except for the abundant oversteer of the car which higher downforce definitely helps reduce at the cost of speed.


Not had much time to get used the car or learn the circuit, but so far, an average time.
